Stazzano is a comune in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres southeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,168 and an area of 17.8 square kilometres .The municipality of Stazzano contains the frazioni Vargo and Albarasca. Stazzano borders the following municipalities: Borghetto di Borbera, Cassano Spinola, Sardigliano, Serravalle Scrivia, and Vignole Borbera.

Monteriggioni is a circular medieval town with turreted fortress walls, mentioned in Dante's Inferno.
To the east is an extension of unspoiled land, preserved over the centuries because it was all owned by one proprietor.
Within this mix of olive groves and dense woods, in the center of a peaceful forest reserve is the Poggiarello property.
The three stone farmhouses dating back to the 1700s are reached by a 2 kilometer road.
The Giove family (brother and sister team) bought and restored the property creating apartments for 2-8 people, two doubles, a restaurant and swimming pool plus living quarters for both of their own families.

Its several dining rooms are brimming with rustic country charm and serve delicious meals prepared from local produce.
There are 15 guestrooms tastefully decorated with antiques.
The town of Portico di Romagna is like the inn, inviting yet unpretentious—an old village surrounded by wooded hills and clear mountain streams.

I made this film for Paolo, the owner of this B&B, because he made us have a very pleasant stay during the 6 days in his house in may 2012. He brought us to several nice places and restaurants and made us excellent breakfast every morning. At the end of our vacation we went to a nice restaurant together with his wife and son and had lots of fun together.
