Töreboda is a locality and the seat of Töreboda Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 4,189 inhabitants in 2010. Every three years since 2000, a festival has been held at the beginning of July. Töreboda is the hometown for worldwide famous punkband Asta Kask.

The Göta Canal is a Swedish canal constructed in the early 19th century. It formed the backbone of a waterway stretching some 614 km , linking a number of lakes and rivers to provide a route from Gothenburg on the west coast to Söderköping on the Baltic Sea via the river Göta älv and the Trollhätte kanal, through the large lakes Vänern and Vättern. The canal itself is 190 km long, of which 87 km were dug or blasted, with a width varying between 7–14 m and a maximum depth of about 3 m . It has 58 locks and can accommodate vessels up to 32 m long, 7 m wide and 2.8 m in draft. Göta Canal is a sister canal of Caledonian Canal in Scotland, which was also constructed by Thomas Telford.

Läckö Castle is a medieval castle in Sweden, located on Kållandsö island on Lake Vanern, 25 kilometers north of Lidköping in Västergötland. Brynolf Algotsson, Bishop of Skara, laid the foundations for a fortified castle in 1298 originally as a fort that consisted of two or three houses surrounded by a wall. After a fire during the 1470s, the fort was expanded by bishop Brynolf Gerlachsson. After the reformation in 1527, King Gustav Vasa took possession. Field Marshal Jacob Pontusson De la Gardie was granted the property in 1615. Field Marshal de la Gardie embarked on an extensive building spree, including the third floor of the keep. Tisselskogens naturreservat ligger i Bengtsfors kommun, strax sydost om Dals Långed. Här gick jag den 1,8 km korta vandringsleden genom naturreservatet.

Göta kanal och S:t Annas Skärgård – Gone Camping i Östergötland

Vi checkar in och ställer husbilen på Caravan Club Sandvik vid sön Roxen. Vi hoppar sedan ombord på M/S Ceres i Berg för att kryssa österut på Göta Kanal. I Borgensberg hyr vi cykel och tar oss tillbaka, via ett stopp på Cloettas Outlet-butik i Ljungsbro. Vi kör sedan till Tyrislöt Camping i S:t Annas skärgård. Vi spenderar dagen i kajak hyrd hos Gunvor på S:t Anna Skärgårds Kajakuthyrning.

2012-07-21 ÅKGSJ gör en blixtvisit i Söderhamn

Idag reste jag upp till Söderhamn för att möta nattåg 93 och sedan åka tillbaka till Stockholm.

Jag brukar ofta göra en sådan snabbvändning men då i Gävle men då nattåget var två timmar sent hann jag upp med snabbtåget till Söderhamn och dessutom få drygt en halvtimme över.

Jag hade egentligen tänkt sätta mig i solen och läsa morgontidningen men ändrade mig och passade på att spela in in liten film.

Nu är en halvtimme lite för kort tid för att spela in en resedokumentär men jag varför inte försöka och jag hade faktiskt riktigt roligt när jag lekte resereporter.

Och så hade jag tur med vädret.

Häng med mig till Söderhamn -- en stad med stationen lite utanför.
