Mark discovered an amazing secret – one that changed his life – and is dedicated to sharing the good news. Mark previously owned a leasing company and first travel overseas was on a company fishing trip to the Amazon River in Brazil. After the fishing trip he stayed and met some local ladies and what he experienced overseas changed his expectations for love, passion, and beauty forever. Soon after he began to date overseas with the intention of finding a life partner; he succeeded and married Anna Astafieva, from Nikolaev Ukraine. But he wasn’t the only one. Several friends found their life partners overseas and encouraged him to write a book about their discovery.
Since that first book was published in 2009 “Mastering the Adventure of International Dating” (Amazon.com: he and Anna have appeared on Dr. Phil, The TODAY Show, Women’s Entertainment Network, and conducted over 50 radio interviews. Mark and Anna now host groups of men on “Quest Tours” with their company, Dream Connections, with an 80% success rate.
Anna grew up in the town of Nikolaev, Ukraine, as Anna Astafieva. She has four generations of family there and openly declares that she would not have left if she could have found a faithful, family oriented man in her home town. She graduated high school at age 16 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in fashion. She worked and managed a crew at a local clothing factory and was asked to participate as a runway model for the company once or twice a month. Her boss at the factory was the one who suggested she might want to sign up with the ‘marriage agency’. She took her bosses’ advice and the rest is history.
Mark and Anna now work together to help good men from the West meet sincere women from Ukraine, Colombia, and Thailand – and aggressively combat the mail order bride stereotype myths.
In the years that followed their introduction Mark wrote a book and they have both been featured on cable TV shows, The TODAY Show with Matt Lauer, and more. When they first considered hosting their own introduction events, they took a hard look at the way things were being done and saw the need for something more authentic. Something that was truly focused on helping good men find a spouse and eliminating the bad eggs from both sides.
Dream Connections is the realization of that dream.
It has been very rewarding to see that our ideas have proven to work. Men who go on our tours are finding themselves connecting deeply with sincere women in Ukraine, Mark said. We know that these trips cost money and take time away from careers. It just makes sense to create a system that maximizes that opportunity to make lasting connections. Our clients do not see this as a vacation, but a quest to find their queen!
We almost CRASHED the DJI SPARK drone! The Keshet Cave and amazing food at El Babor in Acre, Israel

Let's have another nice trip in Israel with a bit of a scary twist!
Today we'll have a nittle hiking to the Keshet Cave.
The Keshet Cave (also known as the Rainbow cave or Arch cave) in the Galilee, is one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the land of Israel. Not only is the large natural arch with the shallow cave beneath it a pleasure to see, it also attracts hundreds of extreme sports enthusiasts who like to rappel from the arch down to the cave floor below. For those really looking for a thrill, dropping off the side of the cave and swinging under the arch with just the rope between you and the forests way down below is an unforgettable experience!
Keshet Cave is found up against the Israel-Lebanon border just a few kilometres from Rosh HaNikra and the warm Mediterranean Sea. Part of the Adamit Mountain Ridge and incorporated into the Adamit Park, Keshet Cave is on the southern cliff edge of the mountain. What is now the arch – the source of the site’s name – was previously the roof of the cave which now lies open and sun-baked, where rock hyraxes love to live. On the forest floor, winding through the land, is the Bezet Stream.
Rappelling from the arch is both exhilarating and free, provided that you are either an experienced rappeller or that you have an experienced rappeller with you. Embedded in the rock are anchors for fastening ropes and there is a sturdy metal guardrail as well, both for assisting in the rappelling and to keep bystanders safe from plummeting downwards. The drop to the floor of the cave is between 40 and 50 meters (130-165 feet) and from the bottom there is a windy, adventurous trail back up to a parking area.

As you may know, recently we bought a drone and we were really excited to fly in under this arch. What happenned in the middle of shooting was terrifying!
Our DJI Spark lost its GPS signal and we couldn't really see it. We were absolutely sure that we crashed our new drone! But WOW, guys,
this drone just flied up by itself (after crashing the rock wall) and came back to us without any damage! Technology nowadays is much more clever than we are :)
After this lovely adventure we drove to Akko (Acre) to have some dinner. We choose an amazing Arab restaurant called El Babor.
The view from the tarrace was stunning, we managed to recors a very beautiful sunset time-lapse, but what is more importand:
The FOOD! OMG, guys, if you're ever in Israel you just have to eat there! 10/10!
