Vejano is a comune in the Province of Viterbo, formerly known as Tuscia, in the Italian region of Latium, located about 60 kilometres northwest of Rome and about 40 kilometres south of Viterbo on the Mignone river. It is an agricultural village at an altitude of about 400 meters, situated between the hills of Tolfa and Cimini. The main monument of the village is “La Rocca”, an imposing castle, excavated in tuff rock, with a triangular shape and fortified walls.Originally called Viano, it changed its name to Vejano in 1872.The name possibly comes from Veio, the Etruscan city just to the north of Rome that was defeated by the Romans in 396 BC. 1. Parco dei Mostri Bomarzo
The Sacro Bosco , colloquially called Park of the Monsters , also named Garden of Bomarzo, is a Manieristic monumental complex located in Bomarzo, in the province of Viterbo, in northern Lazio, Italy.The garden was created during the 16th century. Situated in a wooded valley bottom beneath the castle of Orsini, it is populated by grotesque sculptures and small buildings located among the natural vegetation.

2. Cascata delle Marmore Marmore
The Cascata delle Marmore is a man-made waterfall created by the ancient Romans. Its total height is 165 m , making it the tallest man-made waterfall in the world. Of its 3 sections, the top one is the tallest, at 83 m . It is located 7.7 km from Terni, a provincial capital of the Italian region of Umbria. Its source is a portion of the waters of the river Velino , after flowing through Piediluco lake near the community of Marmore. It pours into the valley below formed by the river Nera. Its flow is turned on and off according to a published schedule, to satisfy the needs of tourists and the power company alike. Tourists try to be there the moment the gates are opened to see the powerful rush of water.
