Nature Attractions In Wackersberg
1. Lake ChiemseeBavaria Chiemsee is a freshwater lake in Bavaria, Germany, near Rosenheim. It is often called the Bavarian Sea. The rivers Großache and Prien flow into the lake from the south, and the river Alz flows out towards the north. The Alz flows into the Inn which then merges with the Danube. The Chiemsee is divided into the bigger, north section, in the northeast, called Weitsee, and the Inselsee, in the southwest. The Chiemgau, the region surrounding the Chiemsee, is a famous recreation area. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Bad Tölz, Germany: charming town on the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstrasse)
Bad Tölz was to be our last major stop on the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstrasse). After we left, it was getting darker, began to rain, and we had to be in Salzburg, Austria very soon. Of all the wonderful towns we visited on the Alpine Road drive, Bad Tölz seemed to grab me the most - an absolute delight and we saw so very little of it, due to severe time constraints. If we ever return to the region I want to see it again and spend much more time exploring this charming town. As always, Ed does most of the video filming, as well as narration you will hear; I do the majority of the still photos and then edit everything and create the final You Tube video upload.

Sled on the world's longest floodlit toboggan run in the Wildkogel-Arena
With the help of the Smaragbahn lift in Bramberg, you will quickly find yourself at around 2100 meters above sea level, where the world's longest nighttime toboggan run begins. Then it's all about gathering your courage and preparing your sled, before embarking on an adventurous 14 km ride down this floodlit run, all the way back to the valley far below. Within a span of 30 - 50 minutes, you will cover an incredible 1300 vertical meters. If you prefer to ride the Wildkogelbahn lift from Neukirchen up to the ski area, you are also just a 10-minute walk from the top of this run dropping down to Bramberg.
