Wurzen is a town in the Leipzig district, in the Free State of Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the river Mulde, here crossed by two bridges, 25 km east of Leipzig, by rail N.E. of Leipzig on the main line via Riesa to Dresden. It has a cathedral dating from the twelfth century, a castle, at one time a residence of the bishops of Meissen and later utilized as law courts, several schools, an agricultural college and as a police station including a prison.

1. Colditz Castle Colditz
Castle Colditz is a Renaissance castle in the town of Colditz near Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz in the state of Saxony in Germany. The castle is between the towns of Hartha and Grimma on a hill spur over the river Zwickauer Mulde, a tributary of the River Elbe. It had the first wildlife park in Germany when, during 1523, the castle park was converted into one of the largest menageries in Europe. The castle gained international fame as the site of Oflag IV-C, a prisoner-of-war camp during World War II for incorrigible Allied officers who had repeatedly escaped from other camps.

Dashcam - Villach, Austria to Bled, Slovenia - 11 April 2015

This covers the route from Villach, Austria to Bled, Slovenia. Normally, you'd just take the Autobahn through the Karawanken Tunnel and then take a right off the freeway to Lake Bled, but.. that's the boring way to go.

This route starts at the base of Wurzen Pass just outside of Villach. Over the pass into Slovenia. Left turn at Podkoren and along the 201. Right turn at Mojstrana and then it follows the 907 through the Triglavski Narodni Park. A lot of this is just a gravel track barely more than one car wide. It rejoins civilization at Krnica and passes through Zgornje Gorje and Spodnje Gorje. Then on to Bled and Lake Bled, ending on the south shore.

The Dashcam I used is a DOD LS430W.

Zittau Steam Railway, Saxony, Southern Germany Sept 2014

This trip was part of the Great Railway Journeys 'Saxony by Steam' holiday.
The line (750 mm gauge) runs from Zittau to Oybin & Jonsdorf and is about 10 miles in length. The line splits at Bertsdorf and the trains are often timed to leave here at the same time as we experienced during our visit.

Ich befand mich im Januar / Februar 2016 für 4 Wochen zur Reha in Brandis bei Leipzig / Sachsen / Deutschland.
Hier gibt es ein paar Einblicke in den Road Trip, der Natur sowie meines Zimmers. Außerhalb des Zimmers durfte ich im Gebäude leider keine Aufnahmen machen.
