Zealand , at 7,031 km2, is the largest and most populous island in Denmark proper . Zealand has a population of 2,302,074 .It is the 13th-largest island in Europe by area and the 4th most populous. It is connected to Funen by the Great Belt Fixed Link, to Lolland, Falster by the Storstrøm Bridge and the Farø Bridges. Zealand is also linked to Amager by several bridges. Zealand is linked indirectly, through intervening islands by a series of bridges and tunnels, to southern Sweden.   • 1. Knuthenborg Safaripark Maribo
    Knuthenborg Safaripark is a safari park on the island of Lolland in the southeast of Denmark. It is located 7 km to the north of Maribo, near Bandholm. It is one of Lolland's major tourist attractions with over 250,000 visitors annually, and is the largest safari park in northern Europe. It is also the largest natural playground for both children and adults in Denmark. Among others, it houses an arboretum, aviaries, a drive-through safari park, a monkey forest and a tiger enclosure. Knuthenborg covers a total of 660 hectares , including the 400-hectare Safaripark. The park is viewable on Google Street View.

    Møns Klint are a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of the Danish island of Møn in the Baltic Sea. Some of the cliffs fall a sheer 120 m to the sea below. The area around Møns Klint consists of woodlands, pastures, ponds and steep hills, including Aborrebjerg which, with a height of 143 m, is one of the highest points in Denmark. The cliffs and adjacent park are now protected as a nature reserve. Møns Klint receives around 250,000 visitors a year. There are clearly marked paths for walkers, riders and cyclists.     Jægerspris is a town and a former municipality in Region Hovedstaden. It lies in the northern part of the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 96 km², and had a total population of 9,480 . Its last mayor was Ole Find, a member of the Social Democrats political party. A significant portion of the north end of Jægerspris is covered by forest. There are also stretches of sand and dunes along the municipality's western side. In addition to roadways leading southward into Skibby, there is a road across Roskilde Fjord to the town of Frederikssund. A ferry to Hundested from Kulhuse to Sølager was disbanded in recent years.
