There's little worse than spending a day getting once a in a lifetime shots, and coming home only to see issues with the data (corrupt files, card errors, etc). Both cards I use above I stand by: I've not had any issues with either (2 years on the Sony Camera, and 1 year on the Mavic Air

About Us:
I'm PJ. My partner, inspiration, trainer, chef, and moral compass, Risa, are what we (reluctantly) refer to as, digital nomads. I say, reluctantly, as I've been living the digital nomad lifestyle for about 15 years now (long before the term was coined, and became the cheesy trend it is today. It seems that everyone these days on vacation with a laptop, a pina colada next to them, Avicii on their headphones, and a dozen memory sticks filled with selfies now considers themselves a (don't forget the hashtag) digital nomad. I started out at age 19. I quit my job at the time, to focus on the then still relatively unknown arbitrage business model as applied on eBay. Long story short, I saw an opportunity, invested all I had in it (time + money) and by my early 20s, I no longer had any interest in returning to Canada (where I grew up).
I bounced mostly around Asia, for many years (all the usual nomad hotspots: Thailand, Vietnam, S. Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, with a preference for Japan (lived all over Japan, from Tokyo, to the most remote Japanese islands in the Pacific). In late 2013, one of my returns to Tokyo, I met a captivating young woman, Risa, who helped me to re-calibrate my high-flyin', rock-star lifestyle and regain focus. Within a few months of meeting, she elected to quit her job in Tokyo and joined me on this nomadic journey.
This channel, will document our perpetual traveller lifestyle. It's not always easy, it's not always fun. There are highs and lows. Sometimes money is very tight, other times it seems like it's the least of our worries. But when done right, the digital nomad lifestyle is a journey unlike any other. Over the last few years, we generally stay off the beaten path and instead venture into areas seldom spoken about in digital nomad circles. You won't see us visiting Bali, Saigon, or Bangkok. Been there, got the SIM card, and still feel a bit hungover.
As we travel, we focus on personal growth, on disconnecting, unlearning, and thus thriving. We attempt to engage in philanthropy when we can. We respect the cultures kind enough to allow us to visit their land and their homes. Feel free to send us feedback, comments, suggestions. Thank you for taking an interest in our journey.
More videos of exotic places, stories, and people, will be uploaded weekly. As a demonstration of my gratitude to you for taking an interest in us, I will continue improving the quality of the content I create for you on a regular basis.
PJ, and Risa

Switzerland's 10 Best Tourist Attractions
Switzerland's 10 Best Tourist Attractions according to Lonely Planet
10. Zürich Lifestyle
Zürich is the largest city in Switzerland by land area and population. It is the financial centre of Switzerland and houses the stock exchange and the headquarters of a large number of national and international companies. National and international media agencies as well as most of the national TV channel companies are also located here.
9. Lakeside Lucerne
Lucerne is a beautiful small city in the heartland of Switzerland, across the lake from Altdorf, where legend has it William Tell shot an apple off of his son's head. In addition to being a fine place to visit in and of itself Lucerne is a great base from which to explore famous Swiss sites such as Mount Rigi, Pilatus, Titlis and the Rütli Meadow.
8. Epic Outdoors
No trio are more immortalised in mountaineering legend than Switzerland's 'big three' -- Eiger (Ogre), Mönch (Monk) and Jungfrau (Virgin) - peaks that soar to the sky above the traditional 19th-century resort of gorgeous old Grindelwald. And whether you choose to schuss around on skis, shoot down Europe's longest toboggan run on the back of an old-fashioned sledge, bungee-jump in the Gletscherschlucht or ride the train up to Europe's highest station at 3454m, your heart will thump.
7. Capital Bern
Berne, the capital of Switzerland, is a small to medium sized city with a population of about 130,000 in the city proper and roughly 350,000 in the agglomeration area. It sits on a peninsula formed by the meandering turns of the river Aare. The remarkable design coherence of the Berne's old town has earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
6. Romance in Montreux
Mostly known for its world-famous two week long Jazz Festival (a bit of a misnomer: you're just as likely to catch David Bowie or Beck as, say Steve Coleman), Montreux is well worth a wander through, if only to get to the scenic Château de Chillon or to get to the hiker's paradise of Hauts de Montreux.
5. Aletsch Glacier
The Aletsch Glacier is the largest glacier in the Alps. It has a length of about 23 km and covers more than 120 square kilometres in the eastern Bernese Alps in the Swiss canton of Valais. The Aletsch Glacier is composed of three smaller glaciers converging at Concordia, where its thickness is estimated to be near 1 km.
4. Lake Geneva
Lake Geneva, known in French as Lac Léman, is one of the largest lakes in western Europe. It lies on the course of the Rhone river on the frontier between France and Switzerland. The main attractions of the region are the cities and towns surrounding the lake, the opportunities for skiing and hiking in both mountain ranges, and of course the lake itself.
3. Hiking in the Swiss National Park
No country in Europe is more synonymous with magnificent and mighty hiking than Switzerland, and its high-altitude national park with eagle-dotted skies is the place to do it. Follow trails through flower-strewn meadows to piercing blue lakes, knife-edge ravines, rocky outcrops and Alpine huts where shepherds make summertime cheese with cows' milk, fresh that morning from the bell-clad herd.
2. Matterhorn
The Matterhorn is one of the tallest mountains in the Alps. The Matterhorn has a pyramidal shape with four faces facing the four compass points: the north and east faces overlook the town of Zermatt; the south face overlooks the resort town of Breuil-Cervinia; and the west face looks towards the mountain of Dent d'Hérens, which straddles the border.
1. The Glacier Express
The Glacier Express is an express train connecting railway stations of the two major mountain resorts of St. Moritz and Zermatt in the Swiss Alps. The train is operated jointly by the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) and Rhaetian Railway (RhB). For much of its journey, it also passes along and through the World Heritage Site known as the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes.

Luxury in Valais, Switzerland
Alpine chic is what you will get in the Valais region. I stayed in Crans-Montana and Zermatt, two swanky mountain towns that are perfect for luxury seekers and outdoor enthusiasts. With a focus on adventures, the style is upscale but active. Both hotels fit the part, with a ski chalet fee, styled with wooden timber, fireplaces and cozy Swiss ambiance. Food ranges from hearty local fare like cheesy raclette with potatoes to freshly picked produce, mushrooms and game. I spent an afternoon with a Michelin chef, enjoying food cooked in an outdoor oven, along with views of the rolling mountains. If you want to experience the luxurious side of Valais, see my tips in this video guide.

The Furka Pass in Switzerland. Aerial Footage | 4K Drone Video
The Furka Pass (Furkapass), also made famous by a scene from James Bond 007 Goldfinger' is a gorgeous Swiss mountain pass. The pass also features the Rhone Glacier, once a famous attraction, but now disappearing year by year, probably because of global warming. The video also features the once famous Hotel Belvedere, once a major hotspot and celebrity destination and now closed because of the Rhone glacier's retreat and loss of appeal. View cinematic footage of the Historisches Alpinhotel Grimsel Hospiz and the dams around it, such as the Grimsel Dam. he first certified guesthouse of Switzerland was located at this exact place, way back in 1142. In 1932, the Grimsel Hospiz caused quite a sensation as it was the first electrically heated house in Europe. Environmental considerations had to be taken into account when the hotel was completely renovated between 2008 and 2010 and the entire hotel is now heated by using hydroelectric waste-heat. As a historic 4-star alpine hotel in the heart of the KWO catchment area, the Hotel Hospiz reigns majestically above the Grimsel reservoir lake (Grimselsee).
The Furka pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.431 m (7,976ft) above the sea level, located in one of the snowiest regions in Switzerland. It’s one of the world's most iconic, exhilarating and exciting drives, through the Swiss Alps. The pass was immortalized by the Aston DB5 / Ford Mustang car chase in James Bond's Goldfinger. It's one of the highest mountain roads of the Alps.
The pass links the Ursern valley in the canton of Uri with the municipality of Goms in the canton of Valais. It’s one of the highest paved roads in the country, and the road over the pass was built in 1867. As you drive along the pass's road, you may see the train that travels the Furka Pass chugging along through the mountainside, creating a picturesque scene for you to hold in your memory. Countless tourists are attracted by the unique mountain panorama, the Rhone Glacier with its ice grotto, the attractive options for hiking, climbing and skiing tours, as well as the reopened steam railway.
The drive is definitely worth it. The second part of the climb includes much more straight forward road, but it's also less steep. Don’t forget your camera! The road encompasses miles of stunning views through twisty hair pin corners, high elevations and steep grades. The Furka Pass also takes you within a few hundred meters of the Rhone Glacier, source of the Rhone river. Here you can park up and walk up to and actually inside the glacier itself. Travelers can actually walk through the glacier by booking a tour. Though the tunnel through the glacier is only 100 meters in length, you will want to make sure you dress warmly, because it doesn't take long for your body temperature to reach dangerous levels. Although the glacier has retreated dramatically in recent years, it still really is an incredible site, around 7km in length.
In 1964, the hairpin bends on the Furka pass earned their place in cinema history thanks to the James Bond film 'Goldfinger' in the scene in which Tilly Masterson attempts to snipe Goldfinger. It was filmed in front of the Rhone Glacier. If you want the full James Bond experience, you can even visit at the iconic petrol station in Andermatt where Bond and Tilly Masterson part ways following her failed attempt to assassinate Goldfinger – it’s now part of the Aurora Hotel. But you’ll probably look anything but Bond-style glamorous when tackling it: steep slopes, hairpin bends, switchbacks and sharp, blind curves make this a white-knuckle ride to all but the most experienced (or crazy) drivers. At least the road’s wide and perfectly surfaced – this is Switzerland, after all.

Cinematic aerial drone footage of the Swiss mountain filmed in 6K.
The stunning Swiss Alps at sunset near Hasliberg in the heart of Switzerland. Cinematic footage of the majestic Eiger glacier, towering at 3,970 m in the Bernese Alps, , overlooking Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland, or the Wetterhorn at 3,692 m, a peak in the Swiss Alps towering above the village of Grindelwald. Formerly known as Hasle Jungfrau, or the Mittelhorn at 3,704 m, being the highest of the Wetterhorner massif. On the opposite side you can enjoy views of the Ritzlihorn, itself over 3,000 m (3,282 m), overlooking Handegg. It lies on the range east of the Gauli Glacier and north of the Bächlistock. The footage was shot in Hasliberg, near a progressive school called: Ecole d'Humanité, founded in 1934, originally located in Germany and called: Odenwaldschule, until the founder fled to Switzerland to build the new school after the National Socialists came to power. It is considered one of the most progressive school in Switzerland and Europe , being nested in the heart of nature and having students and teachers from all over the World. the area is also the setting for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's death of Sherlock Holmes (Waterfall).
