Torekov is a locality situated in Båstad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 863 inhabitants in 2010. It is still a fishing village but it is today known as a summer resort. In August, 1971 Torekov hosted a meeting in which it was decided to strip the king of all but his symbolic formal political powers, known as the Torekov Compromise.

    Hallands Väderö is a Swedish island located in the northwest corner of the Scania province, but it is named after the province above; Halland. Since 1958 it has been a nature reserve due to its valuable ecologic life with an old beech-forest, unusual fungi and large bird populations. During the summer season small ferries transport people to the island from Torekov. There are no permanent residents on the island at the present time, but many cabins from older times remain on the island and some can be rented for overnight accommodations. The island is also known for its large beaches that are good for bathing. In 2006 the Swedish state surveying Lantmäteriverket decided that the whole island belonged to the Church of Sweden due to an old agreement from 1753.

    Skånes Djurpark is a Swedish zoological park located in Höör Municipality, Skåne County. It specializes in animals of the Nordic fauna, although orphaned animals from elsewhere in the world are sometimes temporarily housed there until a new home can be found for them. The zoo has about 900 animals, representing almost 100 species. These animals are most often kept in large enclosures with natural environments. Some of the domestic animals displayed include: Skånegås , Gute sheep, Fjäll cattle, and Jämtlandsget .

    Ven is a small Swedish island in the Øresund strait, between Scania and Zealand . It is part of Landskrona Municipality, Skåne County. The island has 371 inhabitants and an area of 7.5 km2 . During the 1930s, the population was at its peak, with approximately 1,300 inhabitants. There are four villages on the island: Bäckviken, Tuna By, Norreborg and Kyrkbacken.
