    Ale's Stones is a megalithic monument in Scania in southern Sweden. It is a stone ship, oval in outline, with the stones at each end markedly larger than the rest. It is 67 m long formed by 59 large boulders, weighing up to 1.8 tonnes each. The carbon-14 dating system for organic remains has provided seven results at the site. One indicates that the material is around 5,500 years old whereas the remaining six indicate a date about 1,400 years ago. The latter is considered to be the most likely time for Ales Stenar to have been created. That would place its creation towards the end of the Nordic Iron Age.

    Stenshuvud is a hill in the southeastern corner of Sweden, in the province of Scania, close to Kivik in Simrishamn Municipality. Since 1986, it is one of the National parks of Sweden. The park covers an area of about 3.9 km2 . The hill is 97 m high and faces the Baltic Sea. Since the surrounding landscape is relatively flat, it can be seen from a great distance and has traditionally been used as a landmark for seafarers. Many visitors trek up the hill to enjoy the view which is very good in clear weather. Most of the area is covered with broadleaf forest, especially European hornbeam. Malingsbo-Kloten Nature Reserve in the middle of Sweden offers a lot of nice hiking trails. The small village square in Kloten is a connection point for hiking trails. The square is located between Nordic Discovery's Adventure Center and the Bed & Breakfast the Wilderness Lodge.

I completed the Kullaleden Trail on this hike too. It is one 70 km section of the Skåneleden trail SL 5 around the Kullahalvön Peninsula.

Through wild forests and lands – Olastorp-Hillarp-Bjärnum – Skåneleden 1 & 2 – Day 2

After a night cosy in the wind shelter, it was time to go deeper into North Skåne forest. The trail was not easy, several muddy part where the wood planks, which are meant for you to walk on, were destroyed by the weather and time. We got off the Skåneleden when we arrived to Hillarp and headed to the train station of Bjärnum.

Hotell Vita Hästen, Hästveda, Sweden HD review

Night walk and beautiful lakes – Lärkesholm-Åsljunga – Skåneleden 1

The bus arrived this time... if you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to see this video: (the day when I was stuck in Markaryd).
So finally I could do this night walk up to Lärkesholm shelter which is (from my experience), one of the best view from the sleeping bag that you can have. The lake is just straight under your eyes when you wake up.

Finishing the SL1 trail… almost – Lärkesholm-Åsljunga – Skåneleden 1 – Day 2

Healing process of my wound from the day before injury was starting… and now pain was beating harder on my nerves. Additionally to that, the custom cable I did for my solar system did not work well (bad soldering… my fault) and the result was empty batteries for the day. Anyway… some days are like that.
