Australia Zoo is a 100-acre zoo located in the Australian state of Queensland on the Sunshine Coast near Beerwah/Glass House Mountains. It is a member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association , and is owned by Terri Irwin, the widow of Steve Irwin, whose wildlife documentary series The Crocodile Hunter made the zoo a popular tourist attraction. The zoo is run by Director Wes Mannion. Australia Zoo was opened by Bob and Lyn Irwin on 3 June 1970 under the name Beerwah Reptile and Fauna Park. Their son Steve had helped his parents since childhood to care for crocodiles and reptiles and to maintain the growing number of animals in the zoo. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a heritage-listed zoological garden at 28 Tomewin Street, Currumbin, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1947 onwards. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 18 September 2009. The sanctuary is world-renowned for its feeding of huge flocks of free-flying wild rainbow lorikeets, which come to the sanctuary to feast off the special mixture which the lorikeets eat. The multitude of events, shows and attractions include dingo encounters, free flight bird shows and feeding of the park's massive saltwater crocodile. The park also contains a serious aspect of its work and exhibits, and behind the scenes includes a state-of-the-art veterinary and rehabilitation hospital. Burleigh Heads is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. At the 2011 Census, Burleigh Heads had a population of 9,188. The suburb boundary extends as far north as Miami Headland, Miami, and as far south as Tallebudgera Creek, Palm Beach. To the west, is the township of West Burleigh, with shopping and industrial areas, and Burleigh Waters, a suburb with a man-made lake, council parks and gardens. Around Port of Brisbane

The Port of Brisbane is one of Australia's fastest growing container ports, and Queensland's largest multi-cargo port.
The Port of Brisbane is located at the mouth of the Brisbane River, and is managed and developed by the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL), under a 99-year lease from the Queensland Government.
PBPL is owned by the Q Port Holdings (QPH) consortium, comprising four of the world's largest and most experienced infrastructure investors. The members are: Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec; IFM Investors; QIC Global Infrastructure on behalf of its managed funds; and Tawreed Investments Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
PBPL's role, as defined by the port lease, includes: the maintenance and development of the port and related facilities, operation of the Brisbane Multimodal Terminal, leasing and, managing land for port-related services, facilitation of the development approval process for developments on Brisbane core port land,maintaining navigable access to the port for commercial shipping, operating the Visitors Centre.
Other port operations, including stevedoring and towage, are carried out by private operators who lease land from PBPL. Vessel traffic services are the responsibility of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, and pilotage services are carried out by a private operator.
