FRASER ISLAND 1 DAY TOUR... DON'T DO IT! | Road Trip Australia Travel VLOG
Day 22 - 23rd September 2017
On September 1st we rented a campervan (named Winston) in Cairns and set off on a 2 and a half month road trip around Australia. It’s a heck of a long way, and definitely a lot of driving, but these videos will show what we got up to on the road!
On DAY 22 We took a 1 day tour of Fraser Island, as we didn't have much time and the other multi day tours were really expensive. Turns out we wish we would have just forked out some extra $$ and a little more time so that we could have enjoyed our experience of the island much more.

As part of our Reef to Rainforest adventure we head over to Fraser Island for a couple of days and have Kingfisher Bay Resort show us around some of the the islands beauty spots.

Over these three videos we visit the Maheno wreck, Lake Mckenzie, Central station, the Pinnacles and Eli creek just to mention a few.

A roadtrip along the East Coast of Australia is a paradise for backpackers! There are many wildlife encounters and the nature is just stunning! In this short video I want to share the very best places with you!

6. Coastal walkway Noosa, Queensland: Walk the coastal walkway from Noosa to Sunshine Beach and take the bus back for gorgeous views of the coastline. Great place to stay:
7. Sydney, New South Wales: As the capital of New South Wales, it is the most populous city in Australia. The stunning natural beaty with the additional Harbour Bridge and the Opera House make this city a must see! Stay at:
8. The 'Prom' Wilsons Promontory, Victoria: The Southernmost tip of the mainland of Australia offers spectacular scenery with mountains and coastal wilderness!

Day 58- Beach Road to Paradise | Fraser Island & Lake Mckenzie
Day 2 of the 1 Fish, 2 Fish tour where we go to Fraser Island and check out the famous Lake Mckenzie. We then make our way to Airlie Beach on an overnight bus. I would highly recommend spending at least one night on Fraser Island. A day trip is definitely not enough and I wish that we had longer on the island!!
