from 03-02-2018 till 10-02-2018 we went for a wintersport to bramberg am wildkogel arena.
we stayed in the smaragdresort, apartment top 4.5
The appartment is located right at the foot off the Smaragdbahn lift.
It was great and had a lot of fun
we made some amazing photo's and video footage of the beautiful winterwonderland tirol Austria
the ski conditions was perfect, a lot of sun and fresh snow
We did the biggest tobogganing (rodeln) course of tirol it was 14 km long

Sled on the world's longest floodlit toboggan run in the Wildkogel-Arena
With the help of the Smaragbahn lift in Bramberg, you will quickly find yourself at around 2100 meters above sea level, where the world's longest nighttime toboggan run begins. Then it's all about gathering your courage and preparing your sled, before embarking on an adventurous 14 km ride down this floodlit run, all the way back to the valley far below. Within a span of 30 - 50 minutes, you will cover an incredible 1300 vertical meters. If you prefer to ride the Wildkogelbahn lift from Neukirchen up to the ski area, you are also just a 10-minute walk from the top of this run dropping down to Bramberg.

Neukirchen am Großvenediger – Holidays against the beautiful backdrop of the Hohe Tauern
The idyllic resorts of the Oberpinzgau region are situated between the impressive 3,000 metre high mountains of the Tauern range and the Kitzbühel Alps. Neukirchen, the fourth biggest resort in Pinzgau, is located on 850 m altitude at the foot of Wildkogel, which is more than 2,200 m high.
You can reach the resort either through the Kitzbühel Alps or, coming from the East, from the motorway A10 via Mittersill. Arriving from the Ziller Valley, you can reach the resort over the Gerlos mountain pass.
The region’s charm is characterised by the untouched nature of the National Park, the panoramic streets in the Kitzbühel Alps and by towns with typically Salzburg flair.
Around Wildkogel, you can find a family-friendly ski area with wonderfully broad and enjoyable pistes. In ski schools, ski kindergartens and practise areas children are well cared for. A 14 km toboggan run guarantees excitement for young and old.
Beside the quaint and typically Austrian houses you can also find shopping facilities, and various cafés, bars and restaurants invite you to linger.
The best places for après ski fun are the “Kogl Bar” or “Bergschmied Schirmbar” in the resort. Those who can’t wait to hit the dance floor late at night should go for the clubs “Kanne”, “Nightlife” or “Almbar”.

Austrian Self Catering Accommodation - Chalet Birke
At St Martin Chalets we run ten luxurious self-catering chalets - situated in the heart of Austria's Southern Alps, about an hour's drive from both Salzburg and Klagenfurt airports.
St Martin Chalets offers the best of both worlds - the privacy of self-catering accommodation with the convenience of having staff on-site. We live next door and have someone in the office during the morning and the afternoon to help our visitors make the most of their stay. Whether you need ski school, a restaurant booking, a night of tobogganing action or you want to sign up for some cross country skiing, we'll be on hand to give you the information and to make any bookings you need.
Chalet Birke is one of our ten ski chalets. It sleeps ten adults comfortably, so it's ideal for groups of friends or large family groups. We also offer discounts for smaller groups, so don't be put off it there are only three or four of you. Birke features three main bedrooms - each equipped with a double or twin beds, and one of which has its own large en-suite bathroom. The other bedrooms share a bathroom, which has both shower and bath. We get our hot water from our own central heating and power unit, which runs on vegetable oil. The plant is quite space-aged and we'll happily give you a tour if you're interested.
Each of our chalets is fully furnished and appointed with its own sense of homeliness. Many of our guests return year after year, telling us that they feel it's a home from home!
Some features are shared by all our chalets - the real wood fire based on a traditional Austrian 'Kachelofen', a fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, free access to the shared gym and sauna facilities, boot warmers, a TV and DVD player and numerous books and DVDs.
We're confident you'll find the chalets lovely and cosy. Real sheep's wool insulation combined with state-of-the-art triple glazing makes the buildings incredibly energy efficient. Even if they feel cool when you arrive, just the body heat of two or three people will soon have the chalets nice and hot. Impressive huh?
Parts of Birche have been hand crafted by us. Herby is a carpenter by trade and many of the finishing touches he did himself. We used local timber and local workers throughout the project, so the 300-year-old larch and granite work surfaces all come from nearby. Have no fear though - you'll have all mod cons: a dishwasher, oven, grill and hob, as well as a complete supply of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and drinking glasses.
For those of you who don't want to cook, there are restaurants and cafes nearby. We'll also provide you with a pre-holiday shop, deliver freshly baked rolls every morning and provide you with in-chalet catering on the night of your choice. We do our best to make this unlike any other self catering ski holiday you've ever experienced.

Chalet an der Piste is an ideal ski in ski out holiday home in Austria within ski resort Zell am See Kaprun (Salzburg region) suited for summer and winter holidays. This luxury ski chalet consists of two independent apartments and sleeps up to 10 guests each. That allows for a family / large group of friends or two families with children to stay in one floor. The track in Kaprun Village is lit up and open till 22.00 h in the evening.
