Los lunes en Manacor lo riega un gran mercado donde los turistas y foráneos acuden, unos a comprar y otros a mairar que es mas barato y entretenido.
Manacor es una ciudad y un municipio de la isla de Mallorca, en la comunidad autónoma de las Islas Baleares. Situada al este de la isla, es la capital de la comarca de Levante y la cabeza del partido judicial homónimo.2
En el año 2010 contaba con 40.859 habitantes.3 Su término municipal tiene una superficie de 260 km² y una densidad de 156,96 hab/km² y se encuentra situado a una altitud media de 80 msnm. Por su población, Manacor es el tercer municipio de la isla y el segundo en cuanto a superficie.
Los primeros indicios de presencia humana en los territorios que hoy en día ocupa el término municipal de Manacor se remontan a 2000-1200 a. C. De este período destacan las cuevas artificiales como lugar de enterramiento (cova de s'Homonet en Son Ribot, Mitjà de ses Beies en Sa Sínia Nova, etc.), y las navetes, construcciones aisladas o agrupadas en poblados, utilizadas como habitáculos (sa Marineta, s'Hospitalet Vell, etc.)
