Saint John is the capital of New Brunswick and one of the biggest cities in Eastern Canada. It's a popular cruise port and during the summer Saint John is loaded with tourists.
One day in Saint John was all the time I had, but it wasn't enough. I hope to return to New Brunswick in the future and spend more time exploring this beautiful province.

Exploring New Brunswick Parks
I explored New Brunswick with my co-worker Gill in the summer of 2017. I'm from Ottawa and despite attending the University of New Brunswick, I haven't truly experienced New Brunswick until I visited its beautiful parks. I shot most of these clips while working as a co-op student at the Department of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture.
Here is a list of the locations featured in this video:
1. Grand Manan
2. Mount Carleton Provincial Park
3. Kouchibouguac Provincial Park
4. Mactaquac Provincial Park
5. St. Croix International Historic Site
6. Kingsbrae Garden, Saint Andrews
7. New River Provincial Park
8. Lobsterfest, Shediac
9. New Brunswick Botanical Garden
10. Hopewell Rocks
11. Miscou Island when the bogs are blooming
12. Campobello Island

Belfast Corn Maze
Prince Edward Island is known as Canada's 'Garden Province' and this shows even in some of it's family attractions. You have your choice between Avonlea Village, a shipbuilding museum and a water park but we found the cream of the crop just 20 minutes east of Charlottetown.
When we came across Belfast's Corn Maze, a down home, healthy, family fun place, we felt like kids in a candy shop, as if we needed an excuse to run around and act like children! The Viaenes' Family Farm features a giant sand box filled with toy trucks and diggers, tractor go-karts, see-saw's, bouncy horses, a corn cannon, and the main attraction, a giant corn maze.
The corn maze covers an impressive 12 acres of land and towers to 10 feet in height. It is more than just entertainment; it is also a message on the importance of local farmers and producers on Prince Edward Island. The design includes a likeness of the Island with the words Where does your food come from?
This is one farm that will bring out the big kid in you !
