Moncton, New Brunswick: My Best Ways To Explore It
Kayaking through the Hopewell Rocks is one of the best ways to start a trip to Moncton, New Brunswick. We head out with Baymount Outdoor Adventures to get up close with rocks formed by tidal erosion. The area is famous not only for the unique rock features but also because it claims the highest tides in the world (the highest have come in as tall as 52-feet). Our guide tells us about the different names given to rock formations in this area, which are assigned based on the shape of the rock.
After kayaking, I headed west to Alma, a fishing village at the entrance of Fundy National Park for lunch at the Alma Boathouse Restaurant and also swing by Cape Enrage to catch some of the best views of the Bay of Fundy. Then, it's time to head back to Hopewell Rocks for the low tide experience.
All the rocks that we kayaked by, around, and under are surrounded by ocean floor. It’s crazy to think that just 6 hours ago (the time span between low and high tide) we were using the current of the water to tour the area.
We spent the night at the newly renovated Residence Inn in Moncton, which is the perfect launch point for exploring both the Bay of Fundy and the Acadian Region. Here, you don't want to miss a trip to Kouchibouguac National Park to Kelly’s Boardwalk, and the Bog Trail.
We also stop at Le Pays de la Sagouine, a place where Acadian culture is preserved in a lively wait- through theatre, music, comedy and dance. From the main entrance, a boardwalk leads visitors to an island that is recreated as a 1940s Acadian fishing village with everything from a bakery to a school house.
We wrapped up our day in the town of Shediac with a boat tour and lobster dinner with Shediac Bay Cruises. The program we choose is playfully called Lobster Tales. During the 2-plus-hour cruise we are entertained with funny but also educational commentary about lobsters- learning about how they are caught and interesting facts like how to tell a male from a female.

Yes folks this is my home, and I will offer $5000 cash to anybody who brings me a buyer. This is a highly sought after French town in Shediac, New Brunswick Canada. With one of the most sought after beaches in all of Atlantic Canada, which has the warmest water on the side of the Carolinas.
For those of you anting to live in Canada, in the summer, here is the lowest crime area of Canada, with the lowest cost of living and the price listed is in Canadian dollars, so it is substantially less in American dollars or Euros. This is a Oceanside tourist town, with festivals all summer long. Every type of seafood that you can imagine.
The host itself, is 7 years old, 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 4850 ft.², with 2 paved driveways, private backyard, gourmet kitchen with secret pantry where you walk into the cupboards to find a huge kitchen pantry, spa like ensuite, no electricity needed, high-output propane fireplace, carpet free home, with central heat and air conditioning, a real two-car attached garage that fits full size, four-door pickup trucks, video surveillance cameras which are only used for deliveries, not because there is any crime here. Magnetic Hill - A Magical Attraction in New Brunswick
Magnetic Hill is one of New Brunswicks most famous attractions... or is it magic? Stories about the mystery of Magnetic Hill have been circulating since the early 1800s. People still find it hard to believe that you can drive your vehicle to the bottom of the hill, put it in neutral, and be pulled right back up the hill, allegedly by magnetic force. Magnetic Hill is also an entire theme park, complete with the delightful shops of Wharf Village.
