The Kaunertal is a municipality and alpine valley in the Landeck district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The municipality is located about 15 km southeast of Landeck at the upper course of the Inn river. The Kaunertal valley is 28 km in length and runs southeast from the town of Prutz to the Kaunertal Glacier. The valley is traversed by the Faggenbach river, which rises south of the Weißseespitze mountain and flows into the Inn river at Prutz , the site of a hydroelectric power station. The Achensee Railway is a 6.78 kilometres long metre gauge railway running between Jenbach and Seespitz on Lake Achensee in Tyrol . Within its length it rises some 440 metres in height, with the steeper sections using the Riggenbach rack system. It is Europe's oldest cog railway which is still steam operated.

It is well known as part of the ski-region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, which was formed when Serfaus teamed up with the two nearby municipalities of Fiss and Ladis in 1999. Serfaus is also known for its small hovertrain subway system, the Dorfbahn Serfaus. With four stations and a length of 1280 m it allows for a complete ban of cars within the town, while at the same time maintaining the village's attractiveness to tourists, particularly skiers.

Para esquiar en el glaciar de Kaunertal debemos recorrer una estrecha carretera panorámica a lo largo de un valle con vistas espectaculares.
Esta pequeña estación austriaca fronteriza con Italia es referencia entre los mejores freeriders del mundo, aunque es perfecta para cualquier esquiador. 30 kms de pistas + 30 kms de fuera pista nos harán disfrutar del esquí en este rincón del Tirol en los Alpes Austriacos.

Always the first hike we do when we are in Filzmoos for summer holiday. A pleasant stay at Moosalm and beautiful view of scenery of Filzmoos, the Bischofsmütze and the Dachstein.

Discover The Beauty of Carinthia - Lake Ossiach & Surrounding

Beautiful Carinthia with it's beautiful lakes is absolute worth a visit. Lake Ossiach is 3th largest lake of Carinthia. In the summer it reaches a temperature of about 25 degrees Celsius and therefore perfect for water-sports. But also hiking, biking and paragliding is done a lot.

Prachtig Karinthië met zijn prachtige meren is absoluut een bezoek waard. Lake Ossiach is het 3e grootste meer van Karinthië. In de zomer bereikt het een temperatuur van ongeveer 25 graden Celsius en is daarom ideaal voor watersporten. Maar ook wandelen, fietsen en paragliden is veel gedaan.
