The Rattler (NC 209) + Ride Review - US Motorcycle Trip Part 15
Day 10 - Our run on the Rattler (NC 209), from Lake Junaluska to Hot Springs, and a quick ride review from the pool at Switzerland Inn in Little Switzerland.
The Rattler was our least favorite run of the entire trip due to slow traffic and gravel in a lot of the corners. Riding it on a Sunday afternoon probably didn't help with the traffic situation but the gravel in corners is a big concern. Having said that, the road and scenery is nice. Just be careful in some of the corners.
