North Carolina Beauty
A couple of years ago, NC Creative Services traveled around North Carolina collecting the sites and sounds of this fine state.
Documenting the beaches of the Outer Banks to the mountains of Asheville, they captured the state at its finest, once again proving that North Carolina is one of the most beautiful and naturally diverse places in America.
Just in time for the warm weather, NC State Creative Services presents this collage of gorgeous North Carolinian locales, available for the first time on our YouTube channel.

Raven Rock Falls, Lake Toxaway, North Carolina
The short hike to Raven Rock Falls near Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, rewards hikers with a spectacular view of a large waterfall as the Toxaway River tumbles over layered rock. When it freezes, the waterfall transforms into a towering mass of icy beauty. The hike is fairly moderate, winding through steep and narrow areas that wind down the mountain. Along the trail, an area affectionately known as the Bridge of Death passes under Cold Mountain Falls, where hikers must exercise extra caution when accessing the falls.
