Moments in Northern Italy: Bologna, Verona, Lake Garda (Part 1)
Traveling around Northern Italy was therapeutic in a way. The scenery was just so beautiful and architecture was simply amazing. Italians are known to be people who knows how to enjoy life and I had my take of it too! A journey of exploring, experiencing and reflecting as I stepped into different towns.
Flight from Frankfurt to Bologna didn't take too long and before I know it, I was in the charming town of Bologna. I took a bigger step to look for Romeo (and Juliet) in Verona and then to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy.

Italian Village of Gargnano, (Italy) - Travel Guide
Take a tour of Italian Village of Gargnano in Gargnano, Italy - part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
Of Italy's lakeside villages, Gargnano, on the shore of Lake Garda, is among the most beautiful.
It is located at the base of one of the region's many steep, picturesque hills.
For much of the year, the hills and mountains surrounding the lake are covered in a thin blanket of snow.
The waterfront of Gargnano has a multitude of pleasant walkways, shady benches, and wonderful cafes.
The waters of Lake Garda are a deep, rich blue, perfect for a swim on a hot day or for boating.
The city owes much of its prosperity to a prominent Italian family, who gave contributions and lodging to Mussolini and his entourage during his reign.
Italy's Most Beautiful Road - Strada Della Forra SP38 - Lake Garda
Tremosine Sul Garda, off the SS45 and the Strada Della Forra, SP38, offer extraordinary driving opportunities, with picturesque views and stunning panoramas. Along the shoreline and also high above Largo Di Garda, narrow winding roads and tunnels cut through the jagged rock. The stone walls finely decorated with green lichens and ferns. A stone walled stream runs alongside the road. Simply beautiful. I've added names and the GPS coordinates of the key places throughout and at the end. There is also a great restaurant (La Forra) in the video at the end that i visited. You will also find a map depicting the entire length of the SP38 which i recommend riding in its entirety. I hope you get to enjoy it one day. The approach road can be busy but this is to be expected and provides great fun watching the life, if your not in a rush.

N1 - Walking tour around Lake garda - Campione, Tignale / Sentieri 266 e 260

Visiting Lake Garda, Lake in Italy
Lake Garda (Italian: Lago di Garda [ˈlaːɡo di ˈɡarda] or Lago Benaco) is the largest lake in Italy. It is a popular holiday location and is located in northern Italy, about half-way between Brescia and Verona, and between Venice and Milan. Glaciers formed this alpine region at the end of the last Ice Age. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the provinces of Verona (to the south-east), Brescia (south-west), and Trentino (north). For more info, visit this link:
