2. Fundy National ParkAlma Fundy National Park is located on the Bay of Fundy, near the village of Alma, New Brunswick. The Park showcases a rugged coastline which rises up to the Canadian Highlands, the highest tides in the world and more than 25 waterfalls. The Park covers an area of 207 km2 along Goose Bay, the northwestern branch of the Bay of Fundy. When one looks across the Bay, they can see the northern Nova Scotia coast. At low tide, park visitors can explore the ocean floor where a variety of sea creatures cling to life. At high tide, the ocean floor disappears under 15 m of salt water. 6. Kouchibouguac National ParkSaint Louis De Kent Kouchibouguac National Park is located on the east coast of New Brunswick, in Kouchibouguac. The park includes barrier islands, sand dunes, lagoons, salt marshes and forests. It provides habitat for seabirds, including the endangered piping plover, and the second largest tern colony in North America. Colonies of harbour seals and grey seals also inhabit the park's 25 kilometres of sand dunes. It is also home to the extremely rare and fragile Gulf of St. Lawrence aster, though in 2006, storms eradicated most of the asters' colonies. The park's size is 238 km2 . Recreational activities in the park include swimming, cycling and hiking. Jardine's Inn Rexton New Brunswick Canada is owned and operated by a local lady by the name of Connie. Sometimes when Connie needs a break, Carla, is on duty. Both of these ladies are super hospitable and entertaining.
Not only is Connie's Jardine's Inn a great place to spend the night, or maybe a week, like BeachBabyBob and his wife, Sue, did, but Connie is a great cook too.
She serves a breakfast-to-die-for, that is part of the price of the room. Every room comes with a nice size washroom, and free wi-fi. Connie cooked a gourmet meal for Bob and his family on their last night, before flying off to Ontario the next morning. Of course, that meal was extra $, but the roast chicken, squash soup, fresh veggies, and apple crisp were worth every penny. Connie is a local girl who knows exactly what tourists shouldn't miss when visiting the Rexton/Richibucto area. She is bilingual too! Bob and Sue decided to stay at Connie's Jardine's Inn because of its close proximity to the Moncton airport and Kouchibouguac National Park, and the Inn's rating of 9.5/10 was the icing on the cake. Bob and Sue give the Jardine's Inn a 10/10.
