Mount Carleton | Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick | Canada
On Saturday, July 20th, 2013, we drove to Saint-Quentin, NB to visit Mount Carleton Provincial Park, and to hike to the top of the highest peak in the Maritimes!
Overall, I highly recommend it! I have lived in NB my whole and never made it to Mt.Carleton before but this certainly won’t be my last. Next time, I hope to hike the other trails including Mt. Sagamook which is the most challenging trail there. Spruce Camp was such a great place that you would be hard pressed not to enjoy it, so long as you packed appropriately. It was dog friendly which is fantastic! Our dogs were so excited the whole time.

We're not serious urban explorers, we just love the adventure.

5 coups de cœur à Fredericton
Après la Baie de Fundy, nous voici à Fredericton, sur la route du retour vers le Québec. On a passé la journée à dénicher quelques bons plans.
Ne manquez pas le village de Kings Landing, un village aux airs de Game of Thrones qui retrace la vie des loyalistes du XIXème siècle. Nous déambulons de maison en maison et rencontrons des personnages qui interprètent des histoires réelles du passé du Nouveau-Brunswick.
Nous arrivons ensuite dans le centre-ville de Fredericton au Crowne Plaza Fredericton Lord Beaverbrook. Un hôtel très bien situé et qu'on vous recommande car il permet d'aller voir très facilement à pied les principaux centres d'intérêts de la capitale.

Il y a d'abord le phare en bord de rivière Saint-Jean où on jouit d'une vue panoramique sur la ville depuis son sommet. Un bon plan : n'oubliez pas de déguster une bonne glace faite maison en terrasse.
Juste à côté, ne ratez pas le musée d'Art Beaverbrook Art Gallery qui exposera à partir d'octobre prochain une œuvre monumentale de Dali !
Et après tout ça, rien de mieux que de se laisser tenter par une bonne bière dans l'une des nombreuses micro-brasseries de la capitale. Nous vous recommandons de vous arrêter à la micro-brasserie Graystone Brewing sur la rue King qui offre un large choix de bières de la Tante Blanche au goût citronné à la Patagonia aux saveurs de pêche.
