    Khao Sam Roi Yot is a marine national park in Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. It covers 98.08 km2 , of which 20.88 km2 are marine areas. The park was established in 1966, and was the first coastal national park of Thailand. The park includes Thailand's largest freshwater marsh.

  • 5. Ao Phang-nga National Park Ao Phang Nga National Park
    Ao Phang Nga National Park is in Phang Nga Province in southern Thailand. It was created by royal decree and announced in the Royal Gazette under proclamation number 98, section 64 of 29 April 1981. It includes coastal sections of Mueang Phang Nga District and Takua Thung District. Most of the park consists of an area of the Andaman Sea studded with numerous limestone tower karst islands. The best known of these islands is Khao Phing Kan, popularly called James Bond Island because it was used as a location for the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. The dramatic appearance of the islands with their sheer sides has made the area a popular tourist attraction. The park also protects the largest area of native mangrove forest remaining in Thailand.

    The waterfall climbing cave fish , also known as the cave angel fish, is a species of troglobitic hillstream loach endemic to Thailand. It reaches a length of 2.8 centimetres SL. This fish is known for its fins, which can grapple onto terrain, and its ability to climb. This fish is the only known member of its genus. The species has been recorded from eight subterranean sites within a large karst system in Mae Hong Son Province, Thailand. The species has an extent of occurrence of nearly 200 km2, but an area of occupancy of 6 km2; the connectivity of this karst systems is unknown, some caves are definitely connected.
