1. AchenseeMaurach The Achensee Railway is a 6.78 kilometres long metre gauge railway running between Jenbach and Seespitz on Lake Achensee in Tyrol . Within its length it rises some 440 metres in height, with the steeper sections using the Riggenbach rack system. It is Europe's oldest cog railway which is still steam operated. The “Pitzenklamm“ is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking gorges of Europe in Austria. It is crossed by the Benni-Raich-bridge which is the starting point for bungee jumping. It’s a highlight to jump from the suspended pedestrian bridge (94m) down into the gorge!
