Campoli Appennino is a comune in the Province of Frosinone in the Italian region Lazio, located about 100 kilometres east of Rome and about 30 kilometres northeast of Frosinone. Campoli Appennino borders the following municipalities: Alvito, Broccostella, Pescasseroli, Pescosolido, Posta Fibreno, Sora, Villavallelonga. It is home to a medieval tower, 25 metres high, a series of walls, and the Aqueduct of Nero.

Rocca Calascio is a mountaintop fortress or rocca in the Province of L'Aquila in Abruzzo, Italy. At an elevation of 1,460 metres , Rocca Calascio is the highest fortress in the Apennines. Built of stone and masonry exclusively for military purposes and intended only to accommodate troops and never as residence for nobles, the fortress overlooks the Plain of Navelli at one of the highest points in the ancient Barony of Carapelle. Construction of the fortress started in the tenth century as a single watchtower. A walled courtyard with four cylindrical towers at the corners around a taller inner tower was added in the thirteenth century. Olive Oil Tasting at Almazara Campopineda in Andalucia, Spain

I went on a four day road trip around Andalucia and visited Almazara Campopineda in Pinar, about one hour away from Granada.

The factory produces about 7 million liters of olive oil per year, collecting fruits from the area’s farmers.

When trucks deliver a load of olive, they are dumped here and then washed and pressed for further processing.

The machines separate the seeds from the fruit and then smash it all up into a pulp. That pulp is then pressed and filtered by a machine, separating any sediment and water out of the mix.

The final product is then pumped into a massive tank where it is left to settle before they are bottled for distribution.

La manifestazione si è svolta nel centro storico della città, come sempre, per valorizzare il tartufo bianco o trifola (Tuber Magnatum Pico), una delle specie più pregiate presente in buona quantità nelle campagne dell'Alta Valle del Tevere.
