Eichenzell is a municipality in the district of Fulda, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the river Fulda, 7 km south of the town Fulda. The letter processing center for Deutsche Post in the greater Fulda area is located in Eichenzell. Die Rhöner Säuwäntzt, a Skiffle-Bluesband come from Eichenzell-Lütter and use the hillbilly image of the region in their performances.

1. Edersee Waldeck
The Edersee Dam is a hydroelectric dam spanning the Eder river in northern Hesse, Germany. Constructed between 1908 and 1914, it lies near the small town of Waldeck at the northern edge of the Kellerwald. Breached by Allied bombs during World War II, it was rebuilt during the war, and today generates hydroelectric power and regulates water levels for shipping on the Weser river. At low water in late summers of dry years the remnants of three villages and a bridge across the original river bed submerged when the lake was filled in 1914 can be seen. Descendants of those buried there go to visit the graves of their ancestors.

Wiesbaden is a city in the western German state of Hesse. Its neoclassical Kurhaus now houses a convention center and a casino. The Kurpark is an English-style landscaped garden designed in 1852. The red, neo-Gothic Market Church on Schlossplatz is flanked by the neoclassical City Palace, seat of State Parliament. Museum Wiesbaden displays expressionist paintings by Alexej von Jawlensky and natural history exhibits.

Wiesbaden is one of the oldest spa towns in Europe. Its name translates to meadow baths, making reference to the hot springs. Wiesbaden is internationally famous for its architecture, climate (also called the Nice of the North), and its hot springs. At one time, Wiesbaden boasted 26 hot springs. Fourteen of the springs are still flowing today.In 1970, the town of Wiesbaden hosted the tenth Hessentag state festival.

Wiesbaden has long been famous for its thermal springs and spa. Use of the thermal springs was first documented by the Romans. The business of spring bathing became important for Wiesbaden near the end of the Middle Ages. Wiesbaden is well connected to the German motorway (Autobahn) system. The Wiesbadener Kreuz is an Autobahn interchange eastwards the city where the Bundesautobahn 3 (A 3), Cologne to Würzburg, and the Bundesautobahn 66 (A 66), Rheingau to Fulda, meet. With approximately 190,000 cars daily it is one of the most heavily used interchange in Germany. The Bundesautobahn 66 (A 66) connects Wiesbaden with Frankfurt. Wiesbaden's main railway station and several minor railway stops connect the town with Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz, Limburg and Koblenz via Rüdesheim.

Im Juni 2018 starteten Linde und Karsten wieder ihre CrossBike-Tour von Bayreuth aus.

Es ging zunächst gut 1,5 Tage zur Fulda-Quelle, um dann dem gesamten FULDA-RADWEG von der Wasserkuppe in der Rhön bis Hannoversch Münden zu folgen.
Die Fulda und die Werra vereinen sich dort zur Weser. Dem WESER-RADWEG folgten wir dann bis zur Mündung nach Bremerhaven.
Über Cuxhaven ging es schließlich nach Wischhafen, um dort die Elbe nach Glückstadt zu überqueren.
In Schleswig-Holstein angekommen, ging es weiter nach Büsum.
Dann verließen wir die Nordseeküste und fuhren östlich über Heide und Rendsburg nach Kiel, wo wir an der Ostsee angekommen unsere Tour nach 11 Tagen beendeten.
