3 Keys to Successful Long-Term Travel Abroad
Gap Year? Career Pivot? Long-Term Travel Plans? However you want to call it taking an extended travel experience is a fun, but serious undertaking. And many travel sites and videos will make you believe it is all fun and no problems, and it is fun and it can be problem free, but there are three things that all long-term travelers really have to consider when they are debating what kind of vacation or travel experience or adventure they are they are planning on going on.
The three key aspects of long term travel are...
1. Mentality - you have to have the right mentality to travel long-term, it is not a vacation, it is more of a life style and you have to think of it that way. There will be ups, but there will be downs as well.
2. Flexibility - with your travel schedule, priorities, timing, travel, it is key to be flexible, because you never know when you are going to find your own travel hidden gem.
3. Financial Ability - you can't travel the free and you certainly can't travel for free for the long-term, so you need to have the finances figured out before you go so you can get the most out of your long-term travel adventure.
