Idstein, Germany has a very well preserved old town and is very well known for its timber frame (fachwerk) houses. Idstein was first mentioned in 1102. From the 18th to 20th century it was well known for its leather industry.

Stade is a city in Lower Saxony, Germany and part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region (Metropolregion Hamburg). It is the seat of the district named after it. The city was first mentioned in a document from 994.
It includes the urban districts of Bützfleth, Hagen, Haddorf and Wiepenkathen which have a district council (Ortsrat) of their own with some autonomous decision making rights.
Stade is located on the lower Elbe river (Lower Elbe) and the German Timber-Frame Road.

Limburg an der Lahn, Sehenswürdigkeiten
Wir beginnen unseren Rundgang durch Limburg an der Lahn (Land Hessen) in der Nähe der alten Lahnbrücke. Danach steht der Dom und die Burg im Zentrum unseres Besuchs. Später bewundern wir die vielen gut restaurierten Fachwerkhäuser, die katholische Stadtkirche, die Hospitalkirche St. Anna sowie das Rathaus in der Werner-Senger-Straße. Am Marinemuseum im Katzenturm endet unser Besuch in Limburg.
