Emerald Pools Cliff Jumping
Emerald Pools is arguably the best swimming hole in Northern California for cliff jumpers. It features cliffs suitable for all different skill levels reaching heights up to 70 feet. This video captures an annual event we hold known as Emerald Palooza where we combine the Tahoe area's best cliff jumpers with incredibly balanced slack liners. This particular swimming hole is also the stomping grounds of a legendary skier known as Shane McConkey aka Cliff Huckstable. He has been a long time idol of mine and I know he would be stoked to see the cliff jumping revolution that is unfolding. If you're into cliff jumping or extreme sports in general you must familiarize yourself with the name McConkey. He just might change your life.

The National Air and Space Museum

The Warf – Petalpalooza
The National Cherry Blossom Festival's Petalpalooza was on Saturday, April 7 from 1 – 9:30 PM at The Wharf. They had live music, games, fireworks, free product giveaways, and more. There are also lots of great restaurants along The Wharf where you can pop inside and grab a bite to eat.

There were two sides to the Roaring Twenties. The glittering Golden Age; where opulence and high style were the order of the day. And down darkened alleys, behind discreet doors -- the secret world of the Speakeasy, where forbidden delights beckon.
For Bright Ideas' Roaring Speakeasy event, both aspects of the era created a unique twist to this theme event. The elegance of a lavish Gatsby-style gala was the first thing to greet our guests. But beyond the brick wall decor dividing the room, past the doorman at a dimly lit entrance... the bootleg charms of gambling and gangsters were waiting.
