La stazione fu soppressa nel anno 2000, ha funzionato come scalo internazionale di trasmissione fra la rete ferroviaria austriaca e quella italiana, i binari non sono più esistenti, al loro posto una pista ciclabile, in sostituzione nello stesso anno viene attivata la stazione di Tarvisio Boscoverde, più a sud. Direi una stazione abbastanza grande, fra le molte stanze c'è anche quella del piacere.
