Paularo is a comune in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 110 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 50 kilometres north of Udine, on the border with Austria. Paularo borders the following municipalities: Arta Terme, Dellach im Gailtal , Hermagor-Pressegger See , Kirchbach , Kötschach-Mauthen , Moggio Udinese, Paluzza, Treppo Ligosullo.
