    Aqualandia is a waterpark, located in Benidorm in the Costa Blanca, Spain. It is twinned with the marine animal park Mundomar, which is immediately next door to Aqualandia, and shares the same free car park. Water is sourced directly from the sea. Aqualandia contains many water attractions, including water slides, swimming pools, river rapids and sunbathing areas.

    Terra Mítica is a theme park located in Benidorm, Comunitat Valenciana, Spain. The park is divided into 5 themed zones: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and the Islands . The park opened in 2000. From 2004–2006, the park went through a bankruptcy process. In 2001, a year after park opening, Paramount Parks entered into an agreement to manage Terra Mitica, and the park was branded as a Paramount Park for the following season. In 2004, Paramount Parks filed for the Spanish equivalent of bankruptcy protection from its creditors. Since then, the park has been operating independently.     Santa Pola is a coastal town located in the comarca of Baix Vinalopó in the Valencian Community, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. It has an area of 58.6 km2 and has a population of 30,000 inhabitants of whom 10,000 are residents of the nearby town of Gran Alacant. The town has an important salt evaporation pond known as the salines which remains in business, additionally, most of it is recognized as the Natural Park of Salines de Santa Pola, an important RAMSAR site. The town was settled over the ruins of a Roman village called Portus Ilicitanus ; after being abandoned for decades, then a castle was constructed in the 16th century which marked the repopulation of Santa Pola.
