San Giorgio di Nogaro is a comune in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 50 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 25 kilometres south of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,417 and an area of 25.8 square kilometres .The municipality of San Giorgio di Nogaro contains the frazioni Chiarisacco, Galli, Porto Nogaro, Villanova, Zellina, and Zuccola. San Giorgio di Nogaro borders the following municipalities: Carlino, Castions di Strada, Grado, Marano Lagunare, Porpetto, Torviscosa.

1. Isola di Murano Murano
San Michele in Isola is a Roman Catholic church, located on the Isola di San Michele, a small islet sited between Venice and Murano, which once sheltered a Camaldolese monastery , but now houses the main cemetery of the city. The monastery was mostly demolished in the 19th-century, but the church remains, originally rebuilt starting in 1469. The church is dedicated to Saint Michael , the holder of the scales on Judgement Day, a fit guardian of the sleep of the faithful dead. The island cemetery now includes the land of the formerly separate island of San Cristoforo. This church is sometimes referred to as San Michele di Murano, although this islet is separate from islands comprising that town.

Palmanova (UD) Città Fortezza - Patrimonio UNESCO - Piazza Grande

Palmanova (Palme in friulano) è un comune italiano di 5 432 abitanti della provincia di Udine in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Città fortezza pianificata dai veneziani nel 1593, è chiamata la città stellata per la sua pianta poligonale a stella con 9 punte.

Dal 1960 la città storica è monumento nazionale. Dal 9 luglio 2017 la fortezza di Palmanova è entrata a far parte del patrimonio dell'umanità Unesco, nel sito seriale transnazionale Opere di difesa veneziane tra XVI e XVII secolo: Stato da Terra-Stato da Mar occidentale.
