1. Marburger Landgrafenschloss Museum Marburg
The Marburger Schloss , a.k.a. Landgrafenschloss Marburg, is a castle in Marburg, Hesse, Germany, located on top of Schlossberg . Built in the 11th century as a fort, it became the first residence of Landgraviate of Hesse . The Marburg Colloquy was held here in 1529. Today the building is used as a museum and as an event site.

Horseshoe Bend - Lake Powell

Non c’è dubbio: la zona intorno alla città di Page sembra esser stata benedetta dalla natura.
Non basta il fenomenale Antylope Canyon. C’è una perla nascosta, a due passi dalla città, l'Horseshoe Bend
Questa meraviglia geologica, appare, agli occhi di chi guarda, come un’ansa a forma di “ferro di cavallo”, scavata dal fiume Colorado.
Dopo un breve sentiero sotto il sole, si sente correre sulla schiena un brivido: è l’altezza vertiginosa del punto panoramico, totalmente sprovvisto di protezioni
A circa 8 km dall'Horseshoe Bend, si trova l’immensa diga chiamata Glen Canyon Dam, che può essere considerata “l’entrata” principale del lago Powell, dalla quale ha avuto origine.
Il poderoso Lake Powell, è un bacino artificiale dove è possibile osservare un affascinante quadro naturale di acque cristalline, a contrasto con le formazioni rocciose bianche che le circondano.
