Coldest place in California is a ghost town | Bartell's Backroads
Bodie State Park used to be full of hopeful gold prospectors. This time of year, the only things you can hope to find there are miles of snow, and some of the coldest temperatures in the United States.

Hope, Alaska
Thank you for joining me on this stop on my 2017 Journey To Alaska. Today by the use of pictures and video clips we will check out Hope, Alaska.
Currently home to fewer than 200 residents, Hope was once packed with 3,000-all drawn by gold fever. In 1889, a few years before the Klondike gold rush began to lure people north, a miner discovered nuggets in nearby Resurrection Creek. Soon prospectors found gold in nearby Six Mile Creek, and the rush to Turnagain Arm began. According to local lore, this growing community of tents and cabins chose to name their town after the youngest rusher to step off the next boat-17-year-old Percy Hope. Whether or not the story is true, the name certainly evokes the optimism of every prospector who arrived in Hope in search of a fortune.

To view the glacier cruise in Alaska a lot of people come up to find this place. People expect the sea ice of the world's largest deultteugi already started. But unexpectedly the captain and mate of the ship was a large woman. Until recently, Korea and the woman who was different from a lot of taboo to work on the ship. Women called to her from Seattle named after the first mate qualification, asked why the work in this area. The biggest reason why I was brought here is because one was a. The opportunity to work in this direction mangoyo. And more than anything because it is a beautiful place. Glaciers are really good. And it's also awesome southeast Alaska. Maybe this thing that now seems the most stunning of the things done in Alaska. Where is the ship touches the Strait of Prince William Sound. The 1778 British Captain James Cook explored the place named after the British Prince William Sound Prince put a named said. As if the sea is calm as a lake and low waves. The surrounding mountains could be seen later that geureotdaneun surrounding it like a folding screen. Animals such as sea otters are found in some places it seemed to welcome our times. Glaciers in Norway or Canada, but being able to see sea ice and ppunyirago Alaska. And does it say about the number of large and small glaciers more than 100 000 are also difficult to gauge its scale. Average age of the glacier is called ten thousand years.
