Top 10 Places To Visit In Netherlands
The Netherlands, a country in northwestern Europe, is known for a flat landscape of canals, tulip fields, windmills and cycling routes. Amsterdam, the capital, is home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and the house where Jewish diarist Anne Frank hid during WWII. Canalside mansions and a trove of works from artists including Rembrandt and Vermeer remain from the city's 17th-century Golden Age.

[4K] THE HAGUE, (DEN HAAG) - City Walk
Join us on this virtual city walk through The Hague (Den Haag) in The Netherlands.
On our slow TV walking tour, we'll experience some of the city's history as well as it's more modern face. The Hague (Den Haag) is home to the UN's International Court of Justice and the ICC - International Criminal Court.
We start on the bustling Plein Square surrounded by open air cafes and trees. Passing the Statue of William of Orange, we cross to view the impressive Binnenhof, seat of the Dutch parliament.
. We view Fontein graaf Willem II, the ornate gold and black fountain before exiting onto Buitenhof and perhaps the city's most famous view across the lake behind the Binnenhof with it's many flags fluttering in the breeze.
Crossing over to Plaats, we pass busy cafes and restaurants and join Hoogstraat, one of The Hague's best shopping streets. We then follow Grote Halstraat which takes us to Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk and then Schoolstraat which leads us to Grote Markt. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, the Grote Markt is a popular place to come and sit with a beer.
Leaving the square, we take Grote Markstraat - surely the city's premier shopping area. Modern architecture mixes with street sculptures to create an eye catching street to explore. We briefly pass China Town and then join De Passage - a fine covered arcade.
And so we find ourselves at the end of our city walking tour on Gravenstraat.

Marseille Trip | July 2018 | Itinerary
Took a break from work and went travelling to the South of France. This time i decided to visit Marseille, the second largest city of France. Before i went to explore this city people warned me about the history and reputation of this city. But to be honest, i don't feel any danger or discomfort during my stay there. Instead it was the total opposite, the people are very nice and friendly and the city is stunning. I totally enjoyed my stay there and is looking forward to go back.
Like i said the city is blessed with lots of beautiful architectures and tourist spots. which i would love to share with you.
Below are the list of places that were on my itinerary:
1. First stop is the Old port. This is the starting point and meeting place for all the tours in Marseille. You can also take the boats here that will bring you to the nearby islands or to Chateu d’iff. My suggestion is, if you want to visit Marseille look for a hotel that is located here. It will save you money and time coz all the other spots & the shopping area are walking distance in proximity.
2. Next stop is Notre dam de la grade. This basilica is located at the highest point of the city. And is the best knon symbol of Mariseille. You can reach the area by taking the bus, the hop on hop off tour, the train tour or you can walk. Walking will takes around 15- 20 minutes uphill walking which I don’t suggest. But once you reach up you will see the entire city and its just stunning!
3. Third on my itinerary which I decided to ditch is Chateu d’iff. It’s an island that is very visible from the notre dame de la garde. This island became famous from the movie Count of Monte Cristo. You should check it out it’s a great movie…
4. Fourth stop is Marseille catherdral –this cathedral is grand! The architecture is amazing! And make sure to walk around it to really appreciates how gorgeous it is. Plus the surrounding area is a good place to hang out and grab some drinks!
5. Next is the Le Panier area which is walking distance the the Marseille cathedral. If you love graffiti this is a place for you, almost all the streets wall are covered with graffiti and they are gorgeous! Very Instagram worthy place.
6. And of course shopping! Shopping is very affordable in Marseille. So me and my sister spent a lot of time shopping.
Important Information:
Hop on hop off cost 19 euro for a day and 22 euro for two days
