One of the largest cities in New Brunswick, Moncton is at the end of the narrow Petitcodiac River estuary. It is one of the tips of the Bay of Fundy, and the surrounding area is famed for having some of the world's highest tides. Moncton has a strong cultural scene with many visual and performing arts, as well galleries and fine dining.
The Acadian city is an important east Canadian road and rail junction, and has a French-speaking university. The French settled in the northern end of the Bay of Fundy in 1638, but the English destroyed their settlement a few years later. Bass fishing on the Miramichi River - New Brunswick, Canada
The Miramichi River is famous for fly fishing. Traditionally this pertains to Atlantic Salmon, but in recent years the population of striped bass has risen to unprecedented levels. No license required, this 3 week open season for fishing stripers has become quite the spectacle in Eastern Canada.
This year marked the inaugural Miramichi Striper Cup which has already proven itself to be a classic in the making. There are so many striped bass that the law has been put into effect that anyone with a fishing rod is permitted to keep 1 bass per day during the fishing season.

Tunstall Wreck Dive - Covehead, PEI August 2015
Video of our dive on the wreck of the Tunstall off Covehead, Prince Edward Island, Canada on August 23, 2015.
History: The Tunstall was built in 1879 and sunk on May 11, 1884 after getting caught in the ice on PEI's North Shore. The ship was hauling coal between Pictou, Nova Scotia and Montreal, Quebec.
