Sunshine Coast is a peri-urban area and the third most populated area in the Australian state of Queensland. Located 100 km north of the state capital Brisbane in South East Queensland on the Pacific Ocean coastline, its urban area spans approximately 60 km of coastline and hinterland from Pelican Waters to Tewantin.   • 1. HMAS Brisbane Mooloolaba
    HMPNGS Lakekamu is Balikpapan-class landing craft heavy operated by the Maritime Operations Element of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force . The vessel was one of eight built for the Royal Australian Navy in the 1970s, and was commissioned into the RAN as HMAS Labuan in March 1973. Labuan was decommissioned in November 2014. She was transferred to the PNGDF for use as a training ship and was commissioned as HMPNGS Lakekamu in December 2014.
