Tour of Nis, Serbia # 4.. concentration camp
this was one of the most depressing and eerie places I have ever encountered.. it was very interesting and the guide spoke perfect English. He walked me through all three floors of the camp..One room was very sad. It was dedicated to the women and kids that were killed and one room was full of pictures that the local students drew about life in a concentration camp... over 12,000 people were killed here... it is a must see..

Niska Banja, Serbia.... # 1
This is a little village about 10km outside of Nis! It is one AWESOME place for relaxation. They have miles and miles of untouched forests, thermal spa, fountains, parks, cafes, etc... Great place to picnic, read a book, get away from society... I walked from Nis!!!! It is 10km!!!! UGHHH!!!!
Tour of Nis, Serbia # 5... Skull Tower
What an awesome experience!!!! This tower was built by the Turks after the Battle of Cegar. The Turks took the heads off of fallen Serbs and had almost 1000 of them placed in this tower! Most of the tower is gone but they have it enclosed in a building and there are around 50 skulls still there!!! MUST SEE!!! Short video .. because I didnt want to interrupt the guide on the other side...

#86 - Belgrade, Serbia - East Tour 2/4 - Grocka to Ritopek (08/2013)
Part 2 of the ride and time to hit some climbs. Right from the beginning. And then through much of the first half of the movie. And along a very busy, major road (Smederevski put Rd). But all is not lost. Yes it's hard and yes it's very stressful, but it is also very beautiful, with some amazing sightseeing spots!
And once I take you off the road, through orchards, it will take all the stress away from you. Beautiful nature, no cars (driving) and amazing views over the area, the Danube and much of Vojvodina region. And then, there are the descends! Short ones, but quite amazing. Until I reach the Danube once again.
Special greeting goes to: fruit farmers in Belgrade area. I really do hope they will keep producing natural and authentic, high quality fruits we are used to and like.
Filmed in August 2013.
