La Gacilly is a commune in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France. It is located on the right bank of the Aff River, about 15 km north of Redon, on the line between Vannes and Rennes, about 60 km from both. It extended on 1 January 2017 by merging with former communes of La Chapelle-Gaceline and Glénac.La Gacilly is best known as the location of worldwide cosmetics company Yves Rocher. It was established in 1959 by a local, Yves Rocher. He also served as the mayor of La Gacilly from 1962 to 2008. After that Yves' son Jacques Rocher obtained the office.The Yves Rocher La Gacilly Botanical Garden is located in the commune.

    The Jardin botanique Yves Rocher de La Gacilly, sometimes called simply the Jardin botanique de La Gacilly, is a botanical garden located at the Yves Rocher industrial site at La Croix des Archers, La Gacilly, Morbihan, Bretagne, France. It is open daily in the warm months; admission is free. The garden was established in 1975 to collect useful and medicinal plants, particularly those with an application in cosmetics. It has since been recognized by the Conservatoire Français des Collections Végétales Spécialisées for its national artemisia collection. Today the garden contains more than 1,000 plant taxa, including medicinal and aromatic plants , cosmetic/perfume plants , fruit plants , industrial plants , dye plants , useful plants of the tropics , and desert plants .

    Planète Sauvage is a zoological park situated in the French Atlantic coast, in Port-Saint-Père near Nantes, in the Loire-Atlantique departement. Founded in 1992 by Monique and Dany Laurent and known as the Safari Africain until 1998, it was then operated by the Compagnie des Alpes between 2005 and 2015. Since that date the park has been the property of the multinational company Looping Group, whose main shareholder is a Belgian private equity fund of the Groupe Bruxelles Lambert. Its director is Philippe Vignaud.
