    Semeru, or Mount Semeru , is an active volcano located in East Java, Indonesia. It is the highest mountain on the island of Java. This stratovolcano is also known as Mahameru, meaning 'The Great Mountain. The name derived from the Hindu-Buddhist mythical mountain of Meru or Sumeru, the abode of gods. It is located in the subduction zone of Indo-Australia plate subduction gets under the Eurasia plate .

    Ngliyep Beach is a beach located in the Indonesian Ocean. It is situated in the village of Kedungsalam Donomulyo, Malang Regency, 62 km south of Malang. Each year, a ritual ceremony called the Folk Art. Batik is used for sacrificial rituals. Farm animals such as sheep or cows are sacrificed into the sea as a ritual offering. This beach is unsafe for swimming because of strong waves.

    Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is located in East Java, Indonesia, to the east of Malang, to the south of Pasuruan and Probolinggo, and to the southeast of Surabaya, the capital of East Java. It is the only conservation area in Indonesia that has a sand sea, the Tengger Sand Sea , across which is the caldera of an ancient volcano from which four new volcanic cones have emerged. This unique feature covers a total area of 5,250 hectares at an altitude of about 2,100 metres . The massif also contains the highest mountain in Java, Mount Semeru , four lakes and 50 rivers. It is named after the Tengger Kingdom. The Tengger Sand Sea has been protected since 1919. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park was declared a national park in 1982.

    Sempu is an island located 800 meters from the southern coast of the province of East Java in Indonesia, about 70 km south of the city of Malang. The island is 3.9 km long and 3.6 km wide. Its topography is largely rolling hills whose altitude ranges from 50 to 100 meters above sea level. The coastline consists mainly of limestone cliffs characteristics of the façade of the island of Java in the Indian Ocean. Sempu is accessed from the village of Sendang Biru, the most important fishing port on the south coast of Java.
