Marken, Netherlands

Marken is both a village and peninsula in the western part of the Netherlands (Waterland and Zaan Region, province of North Holland). It is famous for its picturesque green houses and flat pasture lands. The video was shot during a sunny spring weekend with a DJI Phantom 3.

3D HD visit to Monnickendam - The Netherlands. Monnickendam (usually Monnikendam in English) is a city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies on the coast of the IJsselmeer, about 8 km southeast of Purmerend. It received city rights in 1355 and suffered a lot of damage during the fires of 1500 and 1513. The town still harbours a lot of historical buildings together with a nice little harbor.

Monnickendam, Netherlands

Monnickendam is a beautiful small harbor town, one hour by bicycle from Amsterdam. This route is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.
It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies on the coast of the IJsselmeer, about 8 km southeast of Purmerend. It received city rights in 1355 and suffered a lot of damage during the fires of 1500 and 1513. Monnikendam was also the name of a number of warships - mainly built at the port of that name - during the Anglo-Dutch Wars.
