Flight to see Jested (is the highest mountain peak (1,012 meter) of the Ještěd-Kozákov Ridge near Liberec in the north of the Czech Republic. From the summit there are views into Germany and Poland. Between 1966 and 1973, a futuristic hotel, with a 100 meter-high television tower, was built that was designed by the architect Karel Hubacek. Hotel Jested - a cool and weird hotel on top of a mountain in the Czech Republic
This is Ještěd Tower. It is a 94 metre-tall tower used to transmit television signal built on the top of the 1012 metre-tall Ještěd mountain near Liberec in the Czech Republic.
Ještěd Tower is a reinforced concrete construction with a shape called hyperboloid, built between 1963 and 1968. The tower's architect was Karel Hubáček. The shape was chosen since it naturally extends the silhouette of the hill and moreover well resists the extreme climate conditions on the top of the hill. In the Tower's lowest sections it contains a hotel and a tower restaurant. It serves as a dominant attraction in the city and as a place to oversee much of Bohemia and parts of Poland and Germany.
We drove up the mountain in our car on a very steep and narrow road only secrued by a low guardrail - pretty scary to drive up and down, and on the last 1 km of road, there was only room for 1 car at the time on the narrow road.
The view from the top was breathtaking.

Church of Our Lady before Týn
Temple of Our Lady before Tyn is a three-aisled Gothic basilica, in which you can enter the four portals. Construction dominated by two, eighty meter high towers, between which rises up to the Gothic gable with a relief of the Madonna. Part of the temple, inter alia, the Chapel of the Holy Cross, St. Ludmila and the chapel of the Virgin Mary.

Loučíme se s Maputem. Navštěvujeme Muzeum přírodní historie, slavné vlakové nádraží, naposled pohlédneme na Indický oceán a nasedáme na noční autobus zpět do Johannesburgu. Naše snaha dostat se k letišti podzemkou je marná, a tak i přes četná varování bílých bezdomovců musíme projet nechvalně proslulou čtvrť Hillbrow a několik dalších nebezpečných oblastí na kole. Ubytování (či spíše dřevěnou chatku) nacházíme jen několik stovek metrů od letiště. Garden party s hřmícími boeingy nad hlavou v předvečer přesunu na trase Joburg - Dubai - Praha - Kladno - Vejprty může začít. Jsme u konce. Všem, kteří to dokoukali až sem, vřele děkuji za pozornost / It's time to say goodbye to Maputo. We visit the Natural History Museum, the famous railway station, we take a last look at the Indian Ocean and board a night bus back to Johannesburg. Our attempt to get to the airport by subway is futile, so we have to go - despite of numerous warnings of white homeless people - through the infamous neighbourhood Hillbrow and several other dangerous areas by bike. We find an accommodation (or rather a wooden hut) just a few hundred meters from the airport. A garden party with roaring boeings overhead on the eve of a transfer on Joburg - Dubai - Praha - Kladno - Vejprty route can begin. Our South Africa story is over.
