TORONTO, ONTARIO: Our FAVORITE spots in the Distillery District! | Ep. 6
The historic Distillery District is a new-ish developed historic site. Their vision was to transform the 47 existing Victorian buildings left over from a time when they were occupied as distilleries to included shops, restaurants, theatres, residences and art galleries. We explored the current distilleries and spent an afternoon exploring the brick streets that connect this creative community. History can be cool, kids!

Take A Typical Niagara Falls Day Tour from Toronto
Would you believe that Marine Steve and I have never been to Niagara Falls? It was time to rectify that since the Quark Expeditions charter flew into Toronto and Niagara Falls is only a 1-1/2 hour drive from there. We arranged for a day tour and set off to see what 15-20 million people a year go to see.
Niagara Falls is considered to be the world's most visited and popular waterfall although it is not the biggest in volume, width or height. The Canadian side is arguably considered to have the best views of Niagara Falls. Just sayin'…

------------------------------------------------
The Abbey of Fontenay is a former Cistercian abbey located in the commune of Marmagne, near Montbard, in the département of Côte-d'Or in France. It was founded by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux in 1118, and built in the Romanesque style. It is one of the oldest and most complete Cistercian abbeys in Europe, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Of the original complex comprising church, dormitory, cloister, chapter house, caldarium, refectory, dovecote and forge, all remain intact except the refectory and are well maintained. The Abbey of Fontenay, along with other Cistercian abbeys, forms a connecting link between Romanesque and Gothic architectures.
