Best Things to do in Alberta in the Summer | Alberta, Canada
Alberta is an awesome summer playground! In this video, local Albertans Linda Hoang and Scott Bakken go for a hike in the Canadian Rockies around Kananaskis Lake. ( Along the way, they share some of their favourite things to do in Alberta in the summer. After discovering some amazing mountain scenery including a waterfall, they end their hike with a snack stop next to the impossibly blue lake. Here are some of the other sites they talked about:

CALGARY STAMPEDE 2019 MIDWAY FOODS | I can't believe we ate that...
It’s the best time of year, like Christmas in July, it’s the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, the Calgary Stampede! In this first video, I along with a bunch of my friends, tried 10 of the craziest foods and drinks and treats you can find on the Midway this year! We ate bugs, sea food and lots of deep fried festival foods. Good thing I wore my stretchy pants. Check out the video and let me know if you would dare eat these things or if you’re chicken (like me which you’ll see in this video). There’s even something for the Harry Potter fans out there!

This is a bunch of the new foods at the Calgary Stampede, we give a little midway tour of food, have you seen stranger things at the Calgary Stampede, or tried the best foods at the Calgary Stampede? This video has the craziest midway foods on the stampede midway. We ate octo-lolly, deep fried frog legs, monster bug bowl and so many deep fried things.

Top Highlights of the Central Alberta Real Estate Market in February 2017
-- This past February single family homes in Red Deer had 85 sales and 205 new listings.
** The same month in 2016 had 98 sales with 239 new listings. This is good news as it shows we are heading towards a more balanced market.
*** The average sale price in the month of February was $355,488 with 69 days on market compared to February 2016 which was $335,872 in 79 days. Not only has the average sale price increased homes sold an average of 10 days faster.
-- Similarly Sylvan Lake seen 16 sales in the month of February with 49 new listings and February 2016 posting 14 sales and 62 new listings.
*** Both 2016 and 2017 showed 95 days on market for a sale, however, 2017 average sale price was $345,400 compared to 2016 with $319,791 – that’s an 8% increase in sale price.
