Richard Paul Ashcroft is an English singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer and occasional rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band The Verve from their formation in 1990 until their original split in 1999. He became a successful solo artist in his own right, releasing three UK top three solo albums. The Verve reformed in 2007 but again broke up by summer 2009. Ashcroft then founded a new band, RPA & The United Nations of Sound, and released a new album on 19 July 2010. July 3, 2016 - Day Two of my summer road trip takes me from Quincy, in the centre of Washington state, northward along U.S Highway 97 through Wenatchee, Okanogan, Omak, and Orville. Once I cross the border into Canada, I continue north along BC Highway 97 up the beautiful Okanagan Valley, from Osoyoos, through Oliver, Penticton, and Summerland, before arriving in the metropolitan area of Kelowna, British Columbia, on the shores of Okanagan Lake.

My route takes is primarily along US and BC Highway 97, with the short stretch from Quincy to East Wenatchee at the beginning taking place on Washington State Route 28.
