Highlights From The Road to 150 British Columbia Episode:
Canada's westernmost province is packed with jaw-dropping scenery and incredible adventures. Home to some of Canada's most varied landscapes, ranging from desert and ocean to mountains and forest, there truly is something for everyone in British Columbia.
We explored the BC from Sept 6 - Sept 28, 2017.
Canada's Road to 150 is a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?
We drove to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

What's going on here?
We quit our jobs, left New York City, bought a car, and decided to spend the summer driving around the US. The plan is to hit at least 35 states and cover more than 10,000 miles. Watch from the beginning here:

Our Gear:
Canon G7X Mark II: (it’s amazing and basically sees in the dark)
Canon G7X: (the original is almost as good, but less expensive)
Joby Gorillapod: (fantastic versatile bendy tripod – this is the slightly smaller “action” version that’s easier to travel with and comes with a mount for a camera and a gopro)
Macbook Air: (we edit everything on Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Air, which is light and easy to travel with)
External Hard Drive: (the videos are a little too big for the macbook air to handle, so I edit everything off an external hard drive)

BEST VIEWS in SINGAPORE. Things to do + Where to stay + Gardens by the Bay
We spend a day exploring the amazing city of Singapore and trying to find the best views around the city.
We started on the rooftop of our hotel, Hotel Indigo Katong, which has an amazing rooftop pool which has views over the Katong neighbourhood as well as the larger city area. We also take you on a tour of our amazing hotel room. This is a beautiful and unique hotel in Singapore in a really historic neighbourhood, it’s a great place to stay while in the city. To find out more about the hotel and to book, click here:
Next we got a Grab car and made our way into the main part of the city. We got dropped off right around Marina Bay Sands where we found the Helix bridge and went across. From here you have a great vantage point to the view the city. After the bridge we made our way around the water to the Merlion Statue.
After this we headed to a craft brewery called Level 33. It happens to be the tallest urban craft brewery in the world and has amazing views over the water and of Marina Bay Sands. Here was tasted a couple of different beers.
Later on, once it was dark out, we went to see the evening light show at Gardens by the Bay. This was a highlight of our day and not to be missed when in Singapore! It combines music and lights while your surrounded by the amazing Supertrees.
Hotel Indigo Katong: Hotel Indigo Katong is located in a very popular haunt amongst local foodies and an area full of heritage and culture. This hotel is perfect for travellers looking for a different type of accommodation, something away from the usual hotels in the area. For locals Hotel Indigo Katong is also the perfect location due to its famous satires and restaurants as well as the famous and luxurious Katong Shopping Centre.
Marina Bay Sands: It’s is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore. In 2010, it was billed as the world's most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion. The resort, designed by Moshe Safdie, includes a 2,561-room hotel, a 120,000-square-metre (1,300,000 sq ft) convention-exhibition centre, the 74,000-square-metre (800,000 sq ft) The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands mall, a museum, two large theatres, celebrity chef restaurants, two floating Crystal Pavilions, art-science exhibits, and the world's largest atrium casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines. The complex is topped by a 340-metre-long (1,120 ft) SkyPark with a capacity of 3,900 people and a 150 m (490 ft) infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform, which overhangs the north tower by 67 m (220 ft).The 20-hectare resort was designed by Moshe Safdie architects.
Helix Bridge: This stunning looking bridge is one of the landmarks in Singapore. The bridge is located nearby the Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore flyer and the Bayfront Bridge. Definitely the hub of Singapore’s entertaining and cultural area.
Merlion Statue: The Merlion is the official mascot of Singapore, depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish. Being of prominent symbolic nature to Singapore and Singaporeans in general, it is widely used to represent both the city state and its people in sports teams, advertising, branding, tourism and as a national personification.
Gardens by the Bay: Located next to Marina Reservoir, Gardens by the Bay offers breathtaking waterfront views. This multi-award winning horticultural destination spans 101 hectares of reclaimed land, and is made up of two main areas – Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden.
