Perth to Broome Road Trip | Western Australia Travel Guide
WE ARE BACK home in Perth and we are off on a Western Australia road trip so we can finally show you all why our home state is one of the most beautiful places to travel in all of Australia!!
In our first episode we sand board in Lancelin, got lost in the Pinnacles before journeying onto Jurien Bay and passing onto Kalbarri for the night. We woke up bright an early to abseil in Kalbarri National Park, poked our head through Nature's Window and finally saw the dolphins at Monkey Mia, got WAY TOO excited over shell beach before ending our day in Coral Bay...*takes a breath* what a crazy first few days on our Perth to Broome road trip.

BEACH CAMPS ON THE NINGALOO COAST ARE INSANE | ROADTRIP AUSTRALIA EP.10 |
In this episode we explore two of the most remote and amazing beach camps in Australia!! They are Warroora Station and Ningaloo Station both located on the remote West Australian Coast just South of Exmouth.
4wd access only, great fishing, huge octopus, epic sunsets, crystal clear salt water & the most amazing happy hour seat and fireplace on the beach!!
These are some seriously WOW locations to camp and some of our favourite places to visit in Australia.
We hope you enjoy this episode of RoadTrip Australia and we love hearing your feedback in the comments below.
Thanks for your ongoing support everybody - Justin & Bec
47. Sandy Cape Campground, Jurien Bay WA
Sandy Cape Campground is potentially Australia's best campground. Such an awesome location, spacious, toilets, food van and just $15 per night.
There is also a dump point and rubbish bins nearby.
The campground is pet friendly.
Our stay was 14-17th October 2016
Located just 10km from beautiful Jurien Bay.
Exmouth Tourism - 1 minute
Visit Exmouth on the North West Cape of Western Australia where you can swim with Whale-sharks, Humpback Whales and Manta rays, the home of the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef and Cape Range National Park.
Dive or snorkel the reef, explore the range and its beautiful gorges, paddle or boat up the Yardie Creek Gorge, stop at the Vlaming Head Lighthouse and watch the sunset or the Humpbacks breeching and tail slapping. Kite Board at Sandy Bay or surf the break at Surfers beach. Hire a mountain bike and explore the range, take a charter boat to fish or dive and enjoy some fine dining in the town of Exmouth. Accommodation levels available from 4 star Resort to Back Packers, four unique Caravan Parks with all levels available. Exmouth offers a huge range of natural experiences. This should be the number one location and experience on everyone’s bucket list.

Kununurra, Western Australia
Kununurra is a small town built on big dreams. In a remote corner of the vast Kimberley region of Western Australia, its unaffected pastoral feel makes a comfortable base from which to explore the majestic natural attractions in the rugged surrounding landscape.
Kununurra's existence is due entirely to a grand engineering scheme to harness the Ord River, and establish an agriculture industry in the area. The town itself came into existence in the late 1950s as a support centre for the Ord Irrigation scheme. A few vanguard families slowly spread their multi-thousand acre properties across the fertile plain. In recent years, it has unceasingly shaken off its pragmatic origins to develop infrastructure for the growing number of visitors to this previously difficult-to-visit part of the Kimberley. From the initial handful of pioneering farmers, the permanent population has now grown to around 7,000. The town was officially gazetted as recently as 1961.
In the early days, farmers experimented with a range of crops and had variable results. Crops such as cotton and rice were dismal failures as pests and birds ate it quicker than it could grow. But sugar cane, bananas, melons and mangos became a very successful cash crop. In recent years, sandalwood plantations became more abundant. A trial of commercial hemp proved to be viable and production is tipped to be expanded once the states draconian laws can be modernised.
