Tony Robinson's Time Walks | S2E1 | Kalgoorlie
KALGOORLIE
Welcome to Australia’s wild west. Kalgoorlie was, and still is, the great frontier town. Gold built it, but Tony discovers the diamonds in the rough that are the people who live here. From the pubs to the public squares, and the ghost towns to the brothels, they play hard, work hard, and live hard….and they’ll happily share their stories with anyone who’s prepared to listen.

The park has plenty of trees and shade and is on a huge area of land very popular as a wedding destination as well as residing in the wine region.
The park includes 30 luxurious cabins, and ten new ones are being installed, as well as a stunning 91 powered sites and about 60 unpowered sites. For the kids there is a newly installed, massive jumping pillow and a heated pool. The main attraction for the kids is animal feeding, where the children can feed the kangaroos and emus. At the end of the day there's a brilliant huge open fireplace recreational area outside. Visiting this park is highly recommended and you'll have a great time.

Pemberton - Western Australia
Deep in the heart of karri country, Pemberton is one of the coldest towns in the state. The surrounding forest is breath taking. An under storey of ferns and bracken is usually damp and earthy smelling. Smaller trees and bushes clump together beneath majestic karri trees making the forest almost impenetrable.
The town's most popular tourist attraction is the huge Gloucester Tree with its fire lookout teetering 64 m above the ground and its hair-raising 153 rung ladder to the top. It is claimed that the view from the top is magnificent but, if there is a wind blowing, the experience of swaying from side to side is apparently less than comforting.

Canna - Western Australia
Canna is a tiny little place in the mid-west that many people have never heard of.
It is popular with caravanners and motorhomers because it is three campsites in one. The main camp (a small fee applies here) has showers, toilets, BBQ, bins and water and the other two sites (Old Camp and Canna Dam) are free but have no facilities.
