Explore Western Australia - Perth Lifestyle
Perth is regularly named among the world’s most liveable cities, probably because its amazing fresh produce and lively cultural scene can be enjoyed with 131 perfectly clear blue-sky days every year.
Perth’s neighbouring city of Fremantle is recognised as one of the best-preserved Victorian-era port street-scapes in the world, and was listed in Lonely Planet's top ten cities to visit in 2016. Its lively fishing port and café strip are perfect places for you to enjoy local craft beer, bohemian charm, laid-back vibe and vibrant art scene.
A favourite hang-out for the locals is Mount Lawley’s buzzing Beaufort Street, where a string of award-winning restaurants, cool bars and chilled out coffee shops give you a taste of its stylish village vibe.
Perth is also the only Australian capital city where you can watch an ocean sunset from one of 19 beautiful white sand beaches, all within easy reach of the city, including the iconic Cottesloe Beach Sunday sessions.
From here, it’s just a short drive by car, or ride by bus or train for an evening meandering through Perth’s ever-growing laneways to sample the city's funky small bar and restaurant scene.

Carnarvon is a coastal town situated approximately 900 kilometres north of Perth. It lies at the mouth of the Gascoyne River on the Indian Ocean.
With an outstanding diversity of landscapes, seascapes, natural and man made attractions, Carnarvon has something for everyone. The marine and bird life is second to none.
* BLOWHOLES - Slightly north you will find the famous blowholes attraction. There is also a coral filled lagoon with fish and shells in abundance. There are white sandy beaches in this area which is ideal for snorkelling and enjoying a family picnic.
* CARNARVON HERITAGE PRECINCT - Take a walk down memory lane through the lighthouse keepers cottage museum. Restored to the times of our pioneers who looked after the lighthouse. Also visit the railway museum which is home of the fully restored Kimberley steam train that operated from the jetty to town in the 1950's
* CARNARVON PLANTATIONS - The diversity of the produce grown in the area is considerable, in particular bannanas, mangos, paw paw, stone fruit, avarcardos, tomatoes, capsicum, pumpkin, asparagus and the list goes on. Check it out and grab yourself some fresh produce.
* ONE MILE JETTY - As the pastrol industry shaped Carnarvon in the late 1800's the local population put pressure on the government to develop a port for the town. By 1897 the jetty had been built and wool and livestock produced in the regin began to be exported.
* SATTELITE TRACKING STATION - It was from here that Australia received its first satellite television broadcast. The area offers terrific panomaramic views of the town and surrounding countryside.

Mundijong - Western Australia
Mundijong is a centre for dairy cattle, beef, cheese making and horse breeding.
Located near the South West Highway not far from the major centre of Rockingham, it is becoming a popular place to live as it still retains much of the original country charm. Sadly with more people moving into the area this is something that will gradually be lost.
